They are not in the prediction busines, they want 50% of money falling on each side of the line. That being said, markets, which Vegas represents, have highly predictive powers, so while the smart money may yet be outstanding the fact that the line has been stable since opening should tell us something about Michigan's relative quality, and I suspect, Bama's volatility.

As someone who went to grad school at UTA... damn I wish the standards weren't so high and those DFW girls didn't have to go OU or TTU. For a huge state U the talent was really really poor and way below SEC talent standards.

It was not clear, it was most certainly reviewable and could have been overturned based on the ball's movement. It could have also been upheld as control was established and maintained.
