I question if Mond can get the team over the hump and the status of that offensive line. Neither were very good last year.

After Mond, It's Calzada and King. Both are promising.

(King is crazy athletic and, if he can run an offense, might be special. Calzada has a crazy strong arm but, again, it's unknown if he can run an offense.)

Has Jimbo landed his QB yet? Who starts after Mond? Foster?

They signed Haynes King who has talent but would be a true freshmen. The reality is you need competent QB play to compete play to compete with the best.

If Mond cannot get the job done early, I would hope Jimbo would give the other guys a look. Maybe I am missing something but I feel Mond is who he is. Very inconsistent QB who's main strength is using his legs. I am not sure how much better he will really get.

Mond isn't great but the issue is Calzada and King are unknowns at this point but if shite really hits the fan I think you may have to take that chance. This upcoming season is a golden opportunity for A&M and Jimbo.

If Mond can't stop being Moon Moon by the Arkansas game, it will be Calzada or King, whoever earns it.

Correct. 4 losses would certainly be a disappointment. Hopefully Kellen hasn't reached his ceiling but I'm fairly confident he has.

Agreed, and this is the general consensus. Jimbo needs to win at least 9 games next year.

And the bright side is that many are confident that he will.

Mond is maddening, because he is capable of making the best throw of the year on the run throwing across his body, and he is also capable of missing wide open targets in the back of the end zone.

If Mond remains inconsistent and Jimbo feels like one the backups is ready, then plug them in...

10-2 is good.

9-3 would need qualifying circumstances.

Yes. Anything less than 9-3 would be a disappointment. Personally, I'm. hoping for 10 or more wins. But with Mond, who knows

I will be very surprised if Mond isn't succeeded by King. He's everything that Fisher wants in a QB, and he's very, very football smart. I expect him to make some major strides in the Spring, and begin to grasp things during the Summer

TAM only plays three tough games. Auburn Bama and LSU. So worst case 9 and 3. Unless they drop one to South Carolina or Colorado.

I do,not, care one way or the other about TAM.. but I would just as soon have Jimbo lose every game he coaches

Aggies would jizz in their pants if they won 10 or 11 games.
They’re not going to out talent the Top 3 or 4 teams in the SEC to win a conference title.
They will be happy with Jimbo if he produces 9-10 each year.

All shite talking aside yes 9-3 should be the floor. 8-4 or less and Jimbo deserves to be on the hot seat in 2021

We are losing two guys we'll miss, not counting our punter. That's it. Period. One the whole team.

We have a shitload of freshmen who contributed a LOT this year who are going to improve, and we have a much, much easier schedule.

So...

You're beating two teams with a winning record this year, rather than one?
