Lord how glorious would it be if Sam gets it done in year 1? It would be the biggest Aggie melt & Arkie sail in half a decade.

I question if Mond can get the team over the hump and the status of that offensive line. Neither were very good last year.
RB position as well, but they are young & very talented @ WR/TE. Mond, below avg OL & one proven RB offsets that favorable schedule.
Next year is 3-4 losses min. Talent is building, but they need a QB transfer & OL help ASAP or that talent isn’t going to impact the trophy room. Transfer portal is going to be key for them.

The difference between 10-2 and 9-3 will be versus Auburn which is a winnable game.

Hoping this is serious and not a troll
I'll answer with returning starters in the order of best to worst (worst being most likely to lose their starting jobs)
WR Jhamon Ausbon (SR)
TE Jalen Wydermyer (SO)
OL Kenyon Green (SO)
DL Demarvin Leal (SO)
LB Buddy Johnson (SR)
S Demani Richardson (SO)
QB Kellen Mond (SR)
HB Isaiah Spiller (SO)
WR Ainias Smith (SO) - likely moving to RB
CB Elijah Blades (SR)
DL Bobby Brown (JR)
LB Anthony Hines (JR)
K Seth Small (JR)
S Leon O'Neal (JR)
OL Jared Hocker (SR)
OL Dan Moore (SR)
DL Tyree Johnson (JR)
OL Carson Green (SR)
Emergent backups are fairly numerous, but look out for Baylor Cupp (FR TE), Luke Matthews (SO OL), Tank Jenkins (SO OL), Brian Williams (SO DB), Derick Hunter (FR DL), Adarious Jones (FR DL), Jalen Preston (SO WR), Dylan Wright (FR WR), Erick Young (SO DB), Blake Trainor (FR OL), Braeden Mowry (Grayshirt DE from 2019 class) and Andre White (SO LB)
5* CB Jaylon Jones (Early Entrant)
5* WR Demond Demas
4* DE Donell Harris
4* S Antonio Johnson (Early Entrant)
4* LB Antonio Doyle
4* DE Fadil Diggs (Early Entrant)
4* RB/PR/KR Devon Achane
4* QB Haynes King (Early Entrant)
4* LB Edgerrin Cooper
4* WR Muhsin Muhammad III (Early Entrant)
4* OL Chris Morris (Early Entrant)
total of 13 early enrollees, the above are the highest rated.

That’s a lot of work, but it’s worth it to reward a poster who is posting seriously about football rather than merely trolling. It’s refreshing!

I think Arkansas will beat them, Auburn will slap them upside the head, and then the wheels come off the Faggy Express.

O win a title in year 3. What will jimbo do?
Posted on 1/30/20 at 8:33 pm to CBandits82
Mond should have been benched last year, he’s going to cost Jimbo his job. Surely there’s a better quarterback on the roster, he’s terrible. He’s got the worst technique on preparing to throw I’ve ever seen. The quarterback coach should be fired.

They will lose 5 games. Book it.

No way he can drop 4 again in conference
I think the increase in offensive production will surprise people. The two TE sets will make it easier on whoever the QB is. If they can run the ball they will be hard to beat. Elko is still one of the best, and the staff is overall improved I would say after the changes.

Aggie has an easy schedule almost every year. Your permanent opponent is South Carolina for christsakes.

The seat would be extremely hot. It would be a massive failure if we go 8-4 in the regular season next year

They have zero excuse to not be 9-1 at worst heading into the last 2
Posted on 1/30/20 at 9:48 pm to Draconian Sanctions
They have a very average QB, zero running back depth, and will be starting a lot of teenagers.
PS to the aggy who say that King will be battling with Mond- no way that kid is ready. He is a twig. Definitely a good competitor, but he needs at least a year of training to be ready for conference play. King had a pretty big drop off from his junior to senior year and needs to work it out.
Also, joke schedule won’t matter: 8-5, rinse repeat
