I, for one, could not care less if a school is paying recruits.
This is pure gold though. Saban calling out Jimbo directly is fantastic stuff. Jimbo has to respond or everyone will just accept what Saban said as gospel. Of course now Jimbo has to tread lightly because regardless what he says, Saban is the GOAT and if he protests too much, everyone will still just assume Saban is right.

Saban is the GOAT. Jimbo has his success as well but if he wants to turn this into a back and forth battle, he’s going to find himself with few friends merely because Saban is Saban.

This is exactly what it was. He definitely threw out some punches that he probably didn’t need to do by actually naming names but it’s clear his goal was to put the pressure on Bama folks to pay up.
