Bobby Petrino giving his undivided attention to being the OC is dangerous. It is what he does best. Given that the old regime is beating LSU, badly, I get all this purple flexing.

I’ll give it to you. Congrats on beating the West winner for your 3rd victory in 11 years.

Congrats on beating a 2 SEC win team, I guess.

Yeah, congrats on that 3rd game win against the eventual World Series Champs.

This will be entertaining either way. Either a fun offense to watch or a full on implosion

Definitely.

A&M is a very cringeworthy organization.

LSU hired Ed O as head coach and he somehow made his way to the title game and won. That’s exhibit A of Nobody knows what the f is going to happen. That’s why we love College Football.

Ed O also won it in year 3 before he completely shite the bed. It doesn't really appear that Jimbo has anything under control in Aggieland. As stingy as he is with his offense, I don't understand why he would bring on a hot head like Petrino especially if he isn't going to allow him to run the offense. He could've hired anyone to help run his offense if that's what he wanted. I could definitely be wrong but that whole situation looks doomed from the get go.

My prediction is that somehow they find a way for the shotgun marriage to work to certain extent for a season.

One of the most interesting games this season will happen week 2 in Miami. With the changes that both coaches made, neither Jimbo nor Cristobal can afford to lose that game. If that aggies screw that one up, I think we see some sidelines fireworks right then.

Bobby Petrino arrived, went on a binge of watching Jimbo's 2022 offense on film out of duty, and ran puking to the football office bathroom every 20 minutes or so, like morning sickness except it didn't have to be morning

Ran puking from the Bobby Bowden/Mark Richt FSU OC days sprint draw play action drag, square in, post, that Jimbo thought was really cool because it worked so well for Bowden in 1993, so Jimbo was the keeper of the sprint draw drag square in post secrets dynasty that everyone had been yawning at for 28 years

So Petrino was like, shite, I should have stayed at UNLV

I would say the best-case scenario is that Bobby turns the offense around and Bobby/Jimbo can work w/each other for two years, giving the team one year to really learn the system so they can go into year two w/a seasoned Conner Weigman leading the show.

If that happens and A&M is successful in year two Bobby would be able to get a decent FBS HC gig again which is likely his ultimate goal.

If Mizzou had Aggy’s resources, we’d be king of the world. Hilarious watching them squander it so catastrophically year after year.

O lasted until 2019 due to Aranda, who that moron promptly drove away. O and Chizik prove that the stars can align when you stumble onto a generational QB, but mediocre head coaching can’t sustain success.

I mean Petrino did quit on his NFL team without telling them. He’s not saying anything that isnt true. Bobby is a straight up piece of shite.

Who would do such a thing?

I did. Had to beat down a kid in my class more than I ever wanted because I hated fighting and he wouldn't stop trying.

Last time, I was walking away, he's picking himself up out of the dirt and yells, "You want some more?"

Damn, man. Get a clue.

UTx can say whatever they want, but all you know that if Fisher gets canned and Petrino gets to run the show with annual top 10 recruiting classes he would make A&M an annual playoff team. Petrino can coach like a mofo…until he has his next accident anyway.
