re: Those who say we only scored 23 must not have watched the game..

You defending a horrible offense makes you horrible.
re: Are you Team Landry or Team Woodward?
Posted by BDoubleEZ on 10/29/25 at 7:40 pm to TexasTiger08
I'm Team LSU. I also hope Woodward is gone but Landry isn't doing himself any favors by constantly making himself the center of all of this. If his PR folks think this will help his image, he needs to get rid of them too.

Good point. I forgot about his current role at Bama

What's retarded are all the fools on here constantly screaming to hire a 72 year old man as the head coach because they can't understand how everyone doesn't love LSU as much as they do.
Hire Saban as a consultant
Posted by BDoubleEZ on 10/28/25 at 4:25 am
For everyone who wants Saban back as a coach, that's not realistic. You'd get 2-3 years max IF you could pull him back, which we can't, and it would take him that long just to establish his program. Why not hire him as a consultant to find the young guy coaching now that most embodies the characteristics that made Saban great?

It amazes me how many people on this site have an issue with moving on. There are other S&C coaches. Leave the past where it belongs. LSU needs new, young, blood. They need coaches that are hungry and ready to make a name for themselves.

I'd love to have Dan Lanning but I don't see him leaving Oregon.
Either way, that falls 100% on coaching if they refuse to make changes that will help them win games.

Well hello, Scott Woodward. No, we're not hiring Jimbo
Agreed. We were all thinking the same thing at the game last night. At least they got zero applause
re: Will MVB be the starter for the rest of the season?

Nah Brian Kelly will wait until we lose 2 or 3 more before he makes that decision. He may put MVB in during the 4th qtr of the Oklahoma game

At least they waited too late in the season before they did anything meaningful

When people from Baton Rouge talk bad about another city, you know it's gotta be horrible.
Where you at the game? I was. I stayed until the clock hit 0:00. What i saw was a fan base that packed Tiger Stadium on a day where the weather was horrible to watch the Tigers try to pull out a win against a team and a coaching staff that was simply way better. When you put a garbage product on the field, you can't blame fans for giving up. We've seen the same trash play and play calling on the field all season and nothing changes. People pay good money for a $100M coach and an $18M roster and we're tired of seeing this staff ruin the LSU brand. This isn't on the fans. Tiger Stadium was packed in the 3rd QTR. Nobody is going to stay and watch trash. Fans aren't the problem. Grow up.

Suck but MVB isn’t the answer
MVB isn't going to win any awards amd he isn't a great QB but you've got to make a change somewhere. Nuss threw the ball to the sidelines on 95% of his passes last night. He panics under pressure and then makes horrible decisions. MVB simply running when the O Line breaks down would give the offense a better chance of success than Nuss. The fact is, there are serious problems all over the offense. Dropped passes, missed assignments, bad O Line play, horrible play calling and bad QB play. This is just a bad offense. I'm having a hard time seeing where the preseason hype came from.

He should've started in the 2nd quarter last night. He's not great but at least he runs.
re: Should LSU consider Baker for HC?
Posted by BDoubleEZ on 10/20/25 at 6:50 pm to BayouCowboy
No, this is worse than hiring sun belt Billy. LSU deserves a proven head coach. Nothing against Blake Baker but LSU is better than to be someone's first HC gig.
re: Should LSU pursue Nico Iamaleava?

Absolutely we would
He looks pretty solid at UCLA. They're 0-3, just got beat by New Mexico and fired their coach. Have you lost your mind?
