I think that means a white banner might get washed out. But a purple banner may be too dark. Need help on this. Also, whatever we have on it has to be clearly visible from the ground.

I've always liked the way the Plaza made its own unique mark on the skyline. It made the whole CBD seem larger. The skyline won't feel the same when it's gone.

It hit me on a sunny golf course one time. The first sign was was that I stopped sweating. Then my skin became clammy, and I started to get dizzy and weak.
There was a maintenance shed right there, and I ducked underneath to get out of the sun. It wasn't much cooler there, but it gave me a break from the sun enough to rehydrate and get going again.
Had that shed not been there, there's no way I would have made it back to the clubhouse by walking.

Marcelo probably had a hand in it. He and Santo Trafficante from Florida.
Florida's mob was tied to Cuban casinos. New Orleans' was tied to the fruit trade from Cuba. Those two operations got completely shut down because of JFK. It was a "just business" response as far as Marcelo and Trafficante were concerned.
They also happened to know a guy named Lee Harvey Oswald.

From what I understand from the last 8 or so days of bombings:
- Radars, sensors, and communication facilities along the coast have been taken out.
- Bridges and rail to Bandar Abbas have been taken out, isolating the coastal area from resupply.
- Command and control centers, plus weapons depots within Iran, have been hit, including electric infrastructure that powers these places.
- Non-oil infrastructure on Kharg Island has been hammered.
- Americans are escorting ships through the Strait and are conducting continuous mine sweeps.
- Iran's ability to launch large missile barrages has been severely crippled
- Iran's command and control apparatus is in disarray, due to the inability to communicate, coordinate, and resupply.
Sounds like it's been a bad week to be in charge of Iran. I guess we'll see what comes in the days ahead of if this is all true.

Does anyone remember when The Reveille announced that The Grateful Dead were in talks to play in Tiger Stadium?
Apparently, that report ended up killing the deal. It would have been the first concert ever in Tiger Stadium. The Reveille announced the cancelation of the concert in an all-black cover page. :lol:

During the war, Mel Brooks heard German units singing in the distance. He grabbed a megaphone and blasted out singing "Toot Toot Tootsie, Goodbye". When he finished, the Germans were applauding and celebrating. :rotflmao: That guy has made a lot of people laugh. :lol:
Trying to stop oil from flowing is about like trying to stop illegal drug trafficking. Too many people dependent on it, and too much money to be made from selling it to ever be stopped.
