From what I've gathered Alleva wanted to fire Miles in 2013 and was basically told that they didn't have enough to fire him with cause. F. King Alexander is the former president and he probably has Hersheys in his undies right about now.

Good. frick Jeff Long. Single handedly destroyed the football program by firing Petrino, then hired a known overweight lazy alcoholic that wrote him a love letter, instead of actually doing the research and finding the right fit for Arkansas.

Because he fired Petrino when other schools would have given him a slap on the wrist instead. Other schools have fired coaches for doing worse.

Didn't Petrino hire and subsequently promote his mistress? From what I recall that is what got him fired, not the motorcycle wreck where he crashed his face into her boyfriend's fist 16 times in a row.
