You're glad because he got fired because he didn't know about a hire's prior sexual harassment because he did fire a coach who he knew was guilty of sexual harassment and covering it up? Kind of ironic. He had to fire Petrino. He didn't know about Miles past.

Frank Broyles was going to hire Tuberville. But the chacellor John White at the time decided to have a committee of former players instead do the hiring. All of them except one voted for Nutt. That person was finally persuaded to vote for Nutt which made it unanimous.
He didn't leave. He was fired. He didn't take advantage of what Broyles left him after the 1977 season. He steadily got worse each year. It didn't help that he supported a senator that had KKK connections. The school told him to stay away from politics but he ignored the warning. He ran his mouth and quit at the end.
Yes Hatfield did leave but left Arkansas in a mess.
Jimmy Johnson would have been a good hire but we would be the next Oklahoma and be put on major probation in the 90s. That would have ruined Frank Broyles. So Hatfield was the safe pick.

We needed a strong AD that would have been able to negotiate the needs of the good ole boys like Jerry. Jeff Long was weak and the results showed.
I'm hoping Hunter Yuracheck can grow into that kind of role. His basketball and football hirings look promising.

He knew a bout Miles and certainly the ordeal with Petrino. He loves to play stupid when it gets heated. But he knows very well what went on.
This is the same dude that had stripper poles with guns shooting fake money into the audience. Snoop dog had girls on stripper poles on a court during a basketball game.

It would never go public. And if it did then Petrino would be suspended for a number of games without pay. He would make an apology and not a big deal would come out of it.

The worst of all is that he raked in millions from both schools. Now he can live large and not work a day in his life while Arkansas and Kansas are suffering from death penalty like situations.
