I heard many saying he should change positions, but if he wants to be a qb, there are plenty of schools that would gladly take him.

Depends on what end he is wanting. Does he want to be in the NFL at all? Then, switch to another position and he has a great chance.

Wants a shot at arena football QB? Then by all means, go to FAU or some other non-P5 conference school.

I don't think Jalen will make it in the NFL or play anymore significant snaps as a QB

Maybe just maybe playing in the NFL isn't Jalen's top priority.

With Saban still refusing to name Tua the starter who knows what is going to happen.

Someone in the Hurts family has to have incriminating evidence on Saban.

Jalen Hurts is proof of how good Kiffin was as a play caller. Saban should be kissing Lane’s arse for the championship Hurts freshman year.

JMO but Jalen's father made what should have been a fun situation for #2 a pressure packed day. #2 is a wildcat QB that has started almost 30 games and has a great record. His ability to pull it down and run makes him elite. He is what he is as a passer.

Nick Saban standing behind Hurts 3 years ago at A-Day

"Start going through your reads and stop running the mall"........year 3 Nick added a little sarcasm to his instructions to #2.

Yeah, a 26-2 national championship winning QB's stock is going down because of his Spring Game performance.

Jalen had to get benched for his team to win a national championship so I wouldntcall him a national championship winning QB .

he's not big enough or strong enough to be an every-down NFL RB.

Wrong. I hated him as quarterback and my post history is riddled with me tearing the kid apart but he has the size and the speed plus he is one of the strongest players on the team pound for pound. He will never make it in the NFL at any position imo but it won't be because he lacks the measurables. He is built to be a safety imo.

He knows he isn't gonna make it to the next level. He just wants to be a quarterback and doesn't want to play anywhere else. He is gonna move on like he should no later than this fall and if he is smart he will go ahead and do it before fall camp even starts. He was only our guy for two years because the staff lost recruiting battles at quarterback three years prior and signed three kids who were pretty terrible.

I said going into the spring that the battle would be for 2nd string. I wasn't so sure hurts would win that job over Mac Jones. Not just yesterday but by all accounts Mac Jones was better all spring.
Jones was decisive, playing with poise and firing that ball like he meant to.

People and the 26-2 record, blah, blah. We don't lose the two if he just plays decent. We win the national title last year and beat auburn this year if hurts is just decent. Decent. We won games with people like minkah, Damien Harris and Calvin Ridley covering for his arse.
He is done playing qb at Alabama. He's a good kid that really, really needs a position change but also needs to "care" a little more. Jones will be 2nd team by end of fall camp. He is simply more talented and works harder. Tua has left hurts way back in the rear view.

I love Jalen Hurts. The composure he showed as a True Freshman was impressive.

He didn't turn the ball over.

But,it got to the point where it was look for Ridley. If Ridley isn't open then look to run.If there isn't a running lane, throw it out of bounds.

There was usually at least 1 WR wide open that he never saw.

Bama won a lot of games with that formula. No turnovers and good Defense.

In the Georgia game it wasn't working.

I remember when Bama fans used to rave about this kid.
They turn on every player that comes through once they think they aren't needed anymore. If Tua doesn't play well they will turn on him and rave about Hurts again.

Harbaugh had the university jet in Oxford the day after Shea's season ended

I doubt Jalen gets that kind of treatment when he hits the market

Your fans are idiots. Hurts would be good with Morris’s offense.

I’d take hurts in a heartbeat, especially if we were to run an offense that fits his strengths.
