Maybe he won't be the greatest "free agent" on the market now?

Damn, daddy fricked up. If I'm Jalen, the old man is getting an arse kicking after this game.

All that being said, Jalen can still lead Bama to another National Championship if for some reason we had to start him in most games (due to Tua injury or if Tua all of a sudden got the yips).

Yeah, a 26-2 national championship winning QB's stock is going down because of his Spring Game performance.

Jalen should have switched to RB or WR

He isn't the same without the quarter-bald/dreads hair cut.

Maybe too soon but yeah that had to be considered if Tua gets the nod early on (and it's possible now that won't be too far off).

He seems to be throwing better these last two drives.

He’s looked better in the 3rd. A WR didn’t help him by not bringing in a nice ball for a TD

He has had several drops today. To be honest with you, I am more concerned about the young secondary than qb's. Though they have not given up td's on crimson team, I see too many open receivers.

I remember when Bama fans used to rave about this kid.

I'm not high on Jalen like I am on Tua but I can say that even if Tua starts the season injured and can't play until November, with Jalen starting, we'll still be undefeated.

Dude's a solid enough QB for us to win. For you guys to constantly talk about how your defense is the best in the SEC, how terrible must your QBs have been to where you got run by mid-level SEC teams in your own Dearth Valley?

Jalen didn’t have time to hardly drop back. He was getting touched almost immediately on every drop back.

If Jalen Hurts has any NFL aspirations he should change positions now. He'll never make it as a QB. I'm not sure what position is best for him but QB is out of the question in the NFL. Honestly - I don't think Jalen will make it in the NFL or play anymore significant snaps as a QB at Alabama. He had a great supporting cast at Alabama when he was the starting QB and he's a sneaky fast runner but he's not big enough or strong enough to be an every-down NFL RB.

It looked like it , you could tell by his body language he was feeling the pressure of performing well.

Honestly, I think most years the Alabama defense is going to make quarterbacks look bad, especially during the Spring Game.

I hope the young man improves, or if he does not, he does what is best for him. I heard many saying he should change positions, but if he wants to be a qb, there are plenty of schools that would gladly take him.

I will say, watching him last year, he did not really panic that much, at least in my view, but he did zero in on one guy to throw to and decided to tuck it and run too often. That being said I think he was generally pretty good about protecting the ball.

I don't recall him freezing that often, and don't think I remember him getting sacked a ton.

I did not watch the Spring Game, but I would think if he is at least as good as least year, the team would probably win most of the games on the schedule.
