If Tabor thinks it's bad at Florida, he should transfer to Mizzou.....then he'd REALLY feel the wrath of the white devil

Jalen Tabor is eventually gonna get paid millions of dollars despite having an IQ of 78. Yeah, poor him

Don't kid yourself. His IQ is more like 17 or 18.

There's no way he is anything but a cancer in that locker room. All he does is run dik holster and whine about everything.

Nothing in life is "free". His argument, if it can even be termed that, is specious in the extreme.

Went from one of my favorite players to least favorite in one ill-advised tweet.

I hope it doesn't work out for him and he works minimum wage jobs for 15 years. Save those millions for someone who deserves it more than him.

Just think, this whining little twit will be a 1st rounder next year yet Tim Tebow can't find a roster spot.

You're getting a FREE education that puts most regular students in thousands of dollars in debt.
If a student is decent in school (grades, test scores, awards), they get a scholarship. Never understood the argument that an athlete should be thankful for a scholarship because an average student wasn't good enough to get a scholarship and is stuck with loans.

Good in sports=scholarship
Good in academics=scholarship

Can you post some statistics to show how many regular students are on 100% scholarship?

Alabama football in 2014 had a 33 million dollar surplus. That's not including millions of dollars earned that aren't included in that total such as merchandising and mid level tv rights. Since the sec network the surplus will be even higher. I don't see why with so much money changing hands that these kids can't get a 20-30k stipend a year. It would be a big help to some very poor families and kids. These kids by NCAA bylaws can't even have a job through the school year, many have families that can barely pay rent. When I was at Bama there where football players making the University $ but was at my apartment doing laundry because they had no $$. It may not be slavery but it is indentured servitude.

I agree with all of that.

Equating it to slavery is still asinine.

96% of students at UF received a Bright Futures scholarship: LINK

The criteria for that scholarship is very low. Many many students had a full ride on that scholarship. Then if you applied to other scholarships or were a National Merit Scholar, you get paid to go to UF. It's not that difficult.

It also helps that athletes bring and generate more money to a school directly than a student does.

No it is not, numb nuts. If his family is that bad off, then he always has the option of quitting football and getting a job. While I agree that the system needs to overhauled, it isn't like he doesn't have any choice in whether or not he participates in it.
