I'm pretty receptive to the college athletes getting paid argument, but when you equate something that you have a choice to participate in to being owned by another person and forced to do whatever they want your entire life..................you just probably aren't very smart.

I mean I get that the players deserve something more but come on. They get a great education if they take advantage of it. Many people wish they could get that.

I wonder what Jalen's life plans are right now? Career on Wall Street right after graduation? Physical Chemistry working in a lab for Dow Chemical?
What's that? He plans on using his time at UF to launch himself into the NFL? Well, that's one heck of a plantation right there.
Are there any vignettes out there of slaves being launched from the cotton field to an 8-digit contract dressing up in a pretty uniform, running around on a painted surfaced, with a huge team of people doing their laundry, get their stuff ready, tending to their every need?

I hope it doesn't work out for him and he works minimum wage jobs for 15 years. Save those millions for someone who deserves it more than him.
