The fan support is at Bama

Why the hell would he want to work for Jerry Jones?

No idea if money is or isn't an issue with him, but that really doesn't tell the whole story. If I get $5 million a year and think I'll only last one or two more years, then be back on the market with an uncertainty of what will be available at that time, I might be willing to take $4 million over 5 years for a good opportunity while it is available.

did you just call people dumb, then use the term "bammer" in the same sentence?

I don't think he is saying Dallas doesn't have all that. They definitely have the money, facilities, tradition, fan support, etc. But Alabama has all that as well. And he has power and control here that he wouldn't likely have at Dallas

Who doesn't want to be the absolute best at what they do? Especially if Pete Carroll has success in Seattle. Saban is a competitor, the main thing that would pull him to the NFl is the ability to prove that he can be a success at the next level, which he has yet to show.

$5 Mil a year in Miami, aint as good as $4 Mil in Tuscaloser. And there's more to it than JUST money. Situation means a lot. Miami isn't a good place for family life from all I've heard. In Dallas you can probably find something more akin to Tuscaloser, than you can around Miami. Again, it's all speculation as to what would crank Nick's tractor...but I suspect that Teri Saban has a lot to do with it.

You're calling "bammers" dumb?

Do you have ANY frickING idea what Auburn University had to pay Tommy Tuberville just to get him to quit? Talk about dumbasses...

I believe Mrs Saban is the one that Mal Moore talked to first. She's a real sweet lady

depends on the type of power he wants. If he wants to be a powerful employee bama is the answer. if he wants to be a powerful individual dallas is the better move

what?

Nick's word is on biblical proportions in Alabama. The man is worshipped. He's already said he likes working with college players because of the affect he can have on their lives and the development of their character at that age. Pro players already think they know it all, and are getting the paychecks that, in their minds, prove it.

Jerry Jones can't offer Nick the things he cherishes most, power, control, and a legacy.

He would turn it down. He does not like the pros. He knew he had made a mistake when he left LSU to go to Miami.

i dont think its about money for saban.

saban just cant sit still, he needs a challenge.

he failed in miami, and he will want a chance to prove he can coach that level.
