Money is not really the driving force for Saban at this point. He has all that he and his family could ever spend. If he leaves it will be more about his ego and the legacy he wants to leave behind.

He liked it better than Miami, so you are not being very logical.

Dallas is a great town to be a rich man in though.

just hope it's not about money for Saban.

Or in the case of rival fans, just hope it is about money for Saban.

You actually think that the Univ of Alabama really worries about anything other than football! The Univ is an excuse to field the team.

So that explains why the pizza delivery guy last night was wearing all that bama attire - must be a graduate of the school.

Miami was giving him 5 Mil, when he left for Bama at 4 Mil, seems fruitless to discuss Money Issues Bout Saban

It is ranked higher than LSU.

I don't know Saban personally, and doubt you do either. If you think money doesn't factor in heavily, then you're living in a fantasy world. Nick is married and has kids. He may not need more to make his life good, but these men think about their families too.

BTW, I'm not predicting he'd leave for anywhere, but I certainly wouldn't live under the false pretense that Bammer is the end all be all where Nick Saban is concerned. He's a hired gun, like most coaches. He has other things to consider other than what fans think is on his mind.

Bama can't beat the Cowboys if it comes down to money

They might not have to.....CNS and agent will use this to get more $ out of BAMA though.....So, $6M is available huh? Good to know. Might as well write the check.

The money is at Bama ($6M if Saban wants it)
The complete control of the program is at Bama
The top notch facilities are at Bama
The newly expanded stadium is at Bama
The power to run the show is at Bama
The tradition is at Bama
The fan support is at Bama

Why the hell would he want to work for Jerry Jones?

Sounds to me like Jimmy Sexton is about to do what he does best. Whether Saban is interested or not he'll make BAMA think he is just for the money.

Get ready to come out of pocket another $2mil per year Bama.

A good chance this happens...so who is the Sexton client who will be rumored to take Saban's place if he leaves? You know it will create a domino effect to suck money out of other programs. At least Ole Miss doesn't have to worry about the Nutt this year.

Bammers do. It's about all they talk about these days...if he's not a gimmicky HS coach, he's the brain trust of the AU staff, and on everybody's HC wish list.

Your coach makes 4 million a year, and how are those education cuts going in Louisiana?

I'm seriously doubting bammer would cough up $6 mil a year, but they may be dumber than I give them credit for being.
