Go to a track meet. He looks huge. So strong and doesn’t look like he should be able to run that fast - and then he blows past the fastest kids in the state. He can push off or run past corners with his combo.

I think you may be arguing with yourself. I understand no one said a cleaning fee can’t be charged.

A lot of times the same people who don’t want to take out the trash, are the same ones who are asking for a noon checkin and don’t understand the time needed to prepare the home.

Educating people on what goes into a cleaning and how the new Airbnb policies may end up being hurtful to neighborhoods and the industry as a whole. The new policies go a lot further than just not allowing hosts to make guests take out trash.

Long term calls are too expensive IMO. I would only play around with those if I really liked a stock but had money tied up otherwise.

I sell puts on stocks I want to buy. Usually about 5-10% less than the spot price. If it doesn’t execute, rinse and repeat.

What was your most “wow” place you have been that blew you away? It does not necessarily have to be your favorite destination or even a place you would go back to due to cost, distance, etc.

I try to balance beloved destinations that I will never get tired of (Florence, New York, Kyoto/Osaka, Slovenia, etc) and then throw in an occasional “wow” once every 5 years or so.

I think mine would be Phong Nha, Vietnam. Such a cool area and the cave hikes were incredible. That being said, I feel like we saw and did everything during the time we were there and I would probably explore another region if we make it to Vietnam again.

We did 2 Nights in Hendersonville/Saluda area (just North of Greenville) and then 2 Nights in Highlands. Stayed in an excellent, affordable cabin with a great view in Saluda. This side was much cheaper all around than the Highlands/Cashiers area.

Hendersonville had some great restaurants and we hiked in Dupont. Triple Falls, High Falls and swam in Hooker Falls. Great waterfall that you can go behind. Really enjoyed this day.

Also hiked Looking Glass Rock (recommended) and did sliding rock after (Not recommended - too crowded and costs $).

Used the morning of Day 3 to rent a boat on Lake Jocassee. Easily one of the best lakes I have been on. Tons of waterfalls flowing into the lake, sandy beaches, and fantastic fishing. We caught rainbows, brown trout and bass.

Highlands lived up to the hype. Perfect town with great restaurants and cocktail lounges. Old Edwards Inn is a classic hotel in the center of town and Hummingbird lounge was great. Dinner at On the Verandah

Dry Falls, White Mountain Hike and the Mountain Coaster on Scaly Mountain for the kids.

Wonderful part of the country. Wish we had more time.

I have not been to a full moon party, but the last post made me think of a funny story.

A few months ago we were down there and hopped on a group tour to the baths and Jost. It was the two of us and a lot of older couples. When we were in Jost, this really sweet 60+ woman walked over and told her husband that some nice young locals on the beach sold her a mushroom tree that she drank. She thought it was some kind of local herbal and had no idea what it really was. She had never smoked pot or anything in her life. Her husband was just shaking his head and hoping it wasn't strong. About an hour later, she started tripping hard, almost jumped off the boat and had to be rushed offf as soon as we docked.

Yeah, I’m confused as well on the message and a lot of the characters. It certainly felt more like a stand alone mini series than a third season of this show, but I was highly entertained for 8 weeks.

At different times I felt disgusted, amused, anxious, confused, suspended, sad, angry, etc. Fun ride. As someone mentioned before, it felt like a really long Tarantino movie - which means some people will love it and others will absolutely hate it.

I can’t stand Rizzo, but have to agree that he has played an excellent game. The kid never wins immunity, is working with just about everyone, was smart enough to get in good with Ozzy and Cirie and then turn on them at the perfect moments. And keeping the idol in his pocket the whole game without having to play it - just like the last time he played.

Agreed. I always just thought the outdated style of the house meant that Nate and Cassie were trying to appear richer than they really were by purchasing a big fixer upper. She talks about wanting to remodel the kitchen and bathrooms and Nate says they don't have enough money yet.

You don’t have to get it done at the mall. Pediatricians do it most of the time now.

I don’t have a lean either way, but the argument I have heard for doing it young is less scaring, less risk of infection, no fear of needles yet, no memory of the piercing and hardly any pain since their ears are like jello. 95% of girls will get them pierced eventually.
