That is a good point. I wonder how David and Shaheen will vote

If Joe or Eva win immunity next week they will both be safe to fire (assuming Eva will play her idol on Joe).

It’s very clearly Kyle or Joe. Kyle has his one big move, but Joe might convince the jury that he changed the entire game this season by making it truly about loyalty and being so likable that everyone was willing to sabotage themselves rather than vote him in.

Joe’s best bet is him vs Kyle and Camila. Kyle’s best bet is him vs Mitch and Eva.
Travel projections are down across the board for the second 1/2 of 2025.

The political climate has general international travel to the U.S. down 14%, general domestic travel down 7%, and Nola forecasts down 20%. Nola relies on international travel in the very slow summer and we are not seeing it. Also a weak Saints team and no big events this fall hurts.
With those requirements it is going to be tough. If you just want to come close to breaking even, and use it otherwise, that is fine, but keep in mind it is usually going to be booked on the weekends and empty on the weekdays. Every time you use it on the summer weekends, you are essentially paying for a vacation house by taking it away from your investment.

If you can get a permit, Nola still has better returns than MS coast (though the second half of 2025 is going to be a bloodbath for STR investors in the city).

There is also a surge in "themed" experience. For example, a treehouse in Middle of Nowhere MS has low startup costs and decent return. The higher end lake houses in Alabama are also doing ok.
High insurance cost and seasonal swings make these hard to be profitable. If you can book them out with contractors or snowbirders for at least 1/2 of the year on leases, they may work, but there are other markets with much better return.
There are plenty of other examples to use and champion behind if that is your objective. Giving this trashy woman any kind of money is just as bad wearing a rapist's name on your helmet.
Wow....this thread. Just when I think all of the racism/hate stuff is made up...people are actually giving anyone involved in this scenario money!?

1) Mom who curses at 5 year old and in front of her own son. Disgusting/Trashy
2) Childless pedophile at the park. Should be arrested
3) Supporting calling a 5 year old a racial slur, or even a "thief" at 5. Just terrible.
3) Donating money to either cause. Asinine.

Imagine your kid stealing another kid's blocks at daycare and the teacher calling her a bitch....and then being rewarded with 500K. What a circus.
I don’t really understand how New Orleans can grow…
It is not like there is a ton of undeveloped, useable land. We don’t have/want many large apartment complexes other than the CBD condos.

If you look at areas like central city, you see can see that much of the multi family housing has been torn down and replaced with luxury single family homes used for Airbnbs.
I feel sorry that you have never had the pleasure of dinner at a Mexican household. Chaotic fun.

Potatoes in everything. Cooked in lard. Very fatty meats. Tortillas always an option. Green sauce on hand.

Delicious…but not the healthiest.
Charles Barkley. I worked at Prairie Fire Grill in Hoover, Al in my teens. He was hilarious. We all got drunk at the bar after hours and he promised to pay my tuition if I switched from LSU to Auburn. (I was a HS senior with a full ride to LSU). Turned down the offer, but he was a blast to drink with.

Very good episode. I am really liking this season.

Worried that Joe and Eva screwed themselves here. They are too good at challenges. The others have to start gunning for them. Kyle and Shaheen have to know that if they get them out next, they will be the frontrunners for challenges. Mary would be the only other person who would have a chance at winning immunity because she is lightweight.

I think Eva should have taken the steal a vote instead of going for the safety. It would have been more powerful for next tribal.

re: W Costa Rica- Reserva Conchal

We stayed at the Westin Playa Conchal last year.
The beaches were very good and it was a short drive from the LIR airport. Lots of people on the beach to setup tours with.

We rented a car and went to Monteverde after staying in Playa Conchal for a few days. On the way to Monteverde, about 45 minutes from Playa Conchal, we stumbled upon a sign that said "waterfall" off of the main road. There appeared to be only locals there and it was an amazing spot.

Costa Rica is just great all around.

We hired a driver from Naples airport to Positano. It was about an hour drive, made everything easy and wasn't much more expensive. It may be even cheaper than the other options if it is 4 of you.

Get ready to experience one of the most terrifying roads in the world. The bus that goes from town to town on the coast is insane.

I would love that too.

They could get rid of Camila, Mitch, Chrissy, and Mary. Then, just make it a competitive/good guy showdown until the end.

This season has some serious athletes. I like it. Would love to see some of these guys on the challenge
Wow - what a gut punch. Well done - probably deserves some award buzz. Really made me feel the parents’ emotions.
Why would you want this to happen to any hard working, small restaurant owner?
I can’t believe her husband played for the “Cuc Cougars”.

Airbnb has New Orleans listed as one of the highest rated cities for investors over this same time period. The percent probably has a lot to do with out of state investors buying single and multi-family homes and repurposing them as Airbnb's.
