You have a conference with exactly three teams that are worth a shite. Michigan - cheaters and sex offenders (actually probably not even worth a shite anymore). Ohio State - pussy, born on third base. Indiana - average age of roster 30 years old (since they don’t have a historically soft schedule this year they will probably lose 3+ games actually). All the other teams are dog shite. Of course they win a lot of games they play various iterations of Rutgers and Nebraska all season.

I live up here and these people are so smug it makes you sick. These frickin losers have taken advantage of the SEC being down for the past couple of years. It is time to wax their frickin asses and put them in their place, the trash can where they belong.

I'd love nothing more than to beat tOSU like a rented mule next month.

tOSU and IUd are semi-pro teams in college uniforms. NIL and unlimited transfer was/is the only way they would/will continue to be competitive. That's why their congressional reps are so opposed to reforming the system. As to why Sankey and crew are opposed, that's anyone's guess, but he is a Yankee himself and exhibits all the classic signs of their type: perfidy, conceit, duplicity, arrogance, anything for a dollar, etc.

I think the Big Ten will have a lot more parity this year. The transfer portal has done a lot to close the talent gap.

Yet, he got a 5-year contract extension unanimously approved by SEC Presidents. So, he's clearly popular with the people who matter.

I don't either.

I only post info about the B1G and its teams to compare with the sec.

Conference rivalries used to be sorta fun when they were smaller and made some sense geographically.

Now, it seems more like rooting for Amazon vs Walmart.

Yeah, I don't care what other teams do as long as they make AU or UTk embarrassed or it somehow benefits Alabama. So, I guess I can pull for the SEC as a conference for the latter part of that, but also feel Bama should just worry about Bama and control its own destiny.

The pulling for other teams' outcomes comes later for me when Bama needs help making a spot in the CFPs.

That league has so few upsets but still act like it’s a league not just a handful of actual teams. Reminds me of Miami carrying the Big East.

I give zero shits about any team besides OU and am going to laugh my arse off when Ohio State punks Texas.

Having said that, yes Big 10 fans are annoying. As a relative SEC outsider who has a different view of the Big 10 vs SEC discussion than long time SEC people, I can say it’s clear they’re just very insecure after being dominated by the SEC for a long time, and also insecure about how boring their league is (see the TV ratings for proof of that). I remember when OU was in a similar boat.

They are talking smack now because they got some natties….the 10 ( actually 18) is a weaker conference in total ……..

Last year OU bullied Mich all over the field…..however this year they have the coach from Utah and I expect Mich to be tougher.and maybe better.. I still expect OU to win but Mich did improve their coaching…..

Texass needs to beat OSU and I expect they will….

Don’t have any idea who Indiana plays but Indiana is known for their weak schedule;g…….

Basically OU needs to win a natty this year to shut up the big ten…..

I've always wondered which was a bigger beating; rented mule, red headed stepchild or a tied up goat. We need to do a survey.

I think the SEC recovers this year, but the time of unquestioned SEC dominance is over.

The Big Ten is the conference that has the money, and now they can actually spend it. Under the old rules, the Big Ten couldn't really take advantage of their huge alumni bases, now they can. We all know 2025 Indiana wouldn't have been possibly even 4 or 5 years prior.

You're not putting the genie back in the bottle, the money will never get out of college football again.

Plus with USC, Oregon, UCLA and Washington, that opens up west coast recruiting for the Big Ten, something the SEC doesn't have.

The hope for the SEC this year is that the conference recovers and wins the National Championship. At least then the perception would be the SEC and Big Ten are back to being equal. You would essentially have the SEC and Big Ten at the top and everyone else a level below. But I don't see college football being utterly dominated by the SEC like it was from 2006 - 2022.

As an LSU fan, I want every other team to lose. I know that's impossible but that would be my perfect scenario.
