Usually beer. I switch to bourbon when it gets cooler and I can watch the game outside.

Wonder how spicy that rye is

I’m an odd duck, but Plantation Rhum XO 20th on ice is my drink of choice lately...seriously don’t know anyone else that drinks rum on ice (maybe a little lime at times), but it is good.

Rum seems to be making a come back

Well this weekend in Texas it’ll be mostly lone star & shiner for beer. Sneaking in two flasks of jack for the game.
Normal weekends it’s Miller, Chimes gameday mimosas in togo cups and the occasional Parish Canebrake

Yeungling beer and Crown Royal whiskey.

It will always be bourbon, neat. The bourbon will depend on the opponent. When we play South Carolina, it’s Fighting Cock bourbon. I’ll always go with Blanton’s when we play Kentucky. Other than that, it depends on the game, my mood, and what’s next in the liquor cabinet.

Beer. Beer only. I’m getting old and my tolerance is shite. Last time I drank bourbon for a season opener I Knocked over a plate of homemade salsa on a buddy’s floor before the first quarter ended. By the third quarter we were shooting an old dog house with an AR and I was asleep before the backups went in.

An IPA to go along with whatever I’m cooking. Usually smoking chicken wings, but this week I’m making gumbo.

Michelob Ultra for my beer, Jack, Jim Beam or Crown and soda or Sprite when it cools off a little.

Makers and sprite, easy on the sprite.

Not sure yet. I usually do a pick 6 and then supplement with bourbon. I have a Rowan creek and a Basil Hayden’s open. Andygator is alright but like the other said, hard to drink Abita if Parish Brewin is available.

Any adult beverage I don't have to pay for.

Bourbon (basil Hayden), three large ice cubes and a splash of water.
Water and ice cubes dependent on down and distance

Bourbon is the proper answer for a Southern fan, though, in a pinch... a Mint Julip is also acceptable. But only if you are wearing a Colonel Sanders suit.

Sanford and Son comes on TV One all the time. Redd Foxx was the best and I love his antics about Ripple. They just don't make TV shows of that quality anymore.
