It’s sad that the SEC had to go the lengths it did to get LSU to comply

To the point of threatening expulsion is pretty sad that LSU dragged this out so much that the SEC had to take a drastic measure.

How about STFU and comply to begin with? It’s tiring that LSU keeps doing this.

It really is pathetic of LSU and Kiffin and is a damper on any kind of legacy Kiffin even has left.

I hope every SEC opponent destroys LSU and uses every bit of their attempts to cheat as locker room board material.

That’s to be expected of anyone that went to LSU. Y’all can’t read and keep thinking you “won” when it’s quite the opposite. Y’all got bitch slapped and backed down like a bunch of pussies.

Maybe the SEC should start complying with court rulings.

LSU fans have only themselves convinced of this.

Every move lsu has made shows they are guilty and know it. If they hadn't done anything wrong then they wouldn't have cut the players and bowed.

The courts have told the NCAA that amateurism based eligibility rules in college athletics and the unequal treatment of the 2022 class both violate antitrust laws.

LSU said we are going to ride with the rest of yall up until the point a court tells us the SEC policy is also illegal.

A court said it’s illegal and LSU still found a way to align with the SEC while not directly defying a court order - up until filling out the roster yesterday.

Incredible job by the leadership at LSU.

The "lengths it did" choosing to file a federal lawsuit in a favorable court to fight this one particular eligibility case?

I agree, it's very sad they did that and not egregious cases like Chambliss. Can't wait for one of our 5th year seniors next year to get a cold and see if we can get him an extra year.

Sankey (allegedly) said it himself in court. That they didn't fight Chambliss decision because it was medical. Sounds like he just opened the door for a whole new batch of players.

We did comply. There was a unique circumstance and we tested the waters on it. Ultimately we decided against it, and we did not roster or play the players. I don’t know what more you want from us.

More hopium. Not a soul will care about this story next week, much less after Lane walks out of Oxford with a dominant win.

Players need to be on the roster before cutting them. These recruits got processed out.

At one point after Charlie Pell and Galen Hall, Florida was a hop skip and jump from the death penalty.
Look, this was an old fashioned lynch mob. Then again, it’s the South and well known for lynching.
The death penalty typically applied to repeat offenders, yet the SEC was going to skip all that and have LSU walk the blank without any due process when, in actuality they hadn’t yet broken the rule. There was, in fact, ongoing litigation.
Don’t bring up any “local judge” crap. These court decisions in favor of granting eligibility were occurring all over the country. Plus, it was home cooking in Oxford that gave Chambliss his eligibility and saved their season. You were all against it then but said “let bygones be bygones”. Selection persecution.

It’s fricking hypocrisy. College players are making millions. They’re not professionals but a guy who didn’t even make a roster and received a small of what collegiate make is a pro ? My arse!

Texas and OU have been in the league two years and aTm 14 years and they’re tossing us, a charter member. EABOD
