Got me with the trans joke.

But you are comparing Jay Johnson to a coach that inherited a stacked team and won one national championship with a team and culture built by someone else and then was too stubborn to change. Jay Johnson inherited shite and within two years won a national title and then did it again.

Jay Johnson has stated he made mistakes. Something Les miles never admitted. I think we give him the benefit of the doubt and see what next year brings.

What else doe CJJ have to do? He admitted he made some mistakes in the portal and evaluating talent.

He has said it more than once and you arse hats pretend that it is going to get better the next week.

WE do not have the talent to be a top team this year, it is obvious. However, the fire CJJ people want him to pull a rabbit out of his arse and that is not how baseball works.

He admitted he screwed up, there is nothing that can be done about the season.

We have the best coach in the country, in this day with NIL this will happen when you have to rely on the portal.
No, definitely not Curiel. Maybe 1% chance Milam does, but highly doubtful considering he will have no leverage

Is NVTS going to take a breath or will it stabilize or fall with profit taking?

Question from and stupid investor
The Fla St colors are wrong in this photo, had to go double check. On Youtube you can see the colors on the helmet (spear alernate colors, leg stripe and numbers) should be garnet
No one could have predicted Brown and Stanfield injuries, and as mentioned earlier he wanted to play outfield not first. Larson was leaving no matter what, CJJ could not tell him he would start because the outfield was set. Now next season is a different story.
Agree that the defense needs to improve. There really is no excuse for how bad we have been in the field. Was mentioned earlier, but we are losing 1/3 runs a game because our defense.

It really sticks out when you are not hitting.
You are correct, you are entitled to your opinion. But, come on man Eddy Furniss was a two time all american and won the Dick Howser award, which is for the best college player.

Hawpe was great but Furniss is a legend.
I downvoted the post from 7 years, just because

Aaron hill was an SEC player of the year in 2003 I think
Would have been incredible, but it looks like he made the correct decision.

Good for him
Schmidt probably has the best stuff and chance of being elite just needs to execute. With this offense the pitchers need to just not hurt themselves with free passes.
Honestly, college is better than pro ball now. Think about it, you can turn over your lineup every season and do not have to worry about contracts and players that get comfortable and lazy. You can process players in and out.

This is actually a crazy time when you think that there is more mobility in college than the pros
TigerLunatik - Used to go to the BR St Patrick's Day when I was going to LSU; always a good time

Maybe CJJ is trying to see who can be extended, who can pitch in the clutch, or who can figure it out on the mound and show composure.

I think CJJ and Nate have at least a clue about what is going on. This happens every year, I swear this board is not satisfied unless LSU goes undefeated, strikes out ever opposing batter, collects 40 hits per game and wins 40-0.

Most people associate Mardi Gras with Bourbon St., but I have young children and enjoy going to the parades and watching them catching throws and listening to bands. There are large areas along parade routes that are family friendly and you do not have to worry about drunken idiots. Obviously, there are still people who are drinking but it is not like Bourbon St everywhere.

Mardi Gras is not for everyone and that is okay, I just do not understand this boards obession with calling people names that do enjoy attending the parades.

To each their own
Buckeye06 - Do you think Ole Miss with Kiffin could have played with Indiana?

We will never know, but Kiffin could have won it this year if allowed to coach.
Do not have to be catholic to participate but it originated as a catholic celebration. Mardi Gras is the last day before lent. It is a party before you are supposed to fast and give up something.
K…….keep me posted
