Notre Dame always plays LSU close. it seems they are still motivated after we stole their coach a decade or so ago. he was probably the best coach the Irish have ever had.

Why start opening day while most people are still working? LSU has never started opening day before 6, especially at home.

A night game in mid-February can be brutal in some parts of the country. We wont start night games until the Texas series on March 13.

You live far enough south that it usually isn't freezing cold after 4 pm.

Arkansas doesn't start regularly playing weekday games at 6pm until mid April. We have a few "night games" in March this year for TV.

This is always discussed when talking about attendance #s.

Vandy does the same thing.

The entire state of Florida and their lack of baseball support across all levels is baffleing.

Missouri gets shite support

It's one thing i absolutely loathe about the fricks in Columbia and cities near CoMo. They are the ones who should be supporting the baseball/softball,etc programs, especially on weekdays, when KC and Stl peeps cannot make games.

They give shite support. It's very annoying.

They do. But the school doesn't support it either. They're not playing in the same league as LSU, A&M, USC, MSU, etc. The investment isn't there. However UF might have the greatest stadium, but they invest. They have a great coach and a talent-rich area to pull from.

Take it to the MLB level and Missouri all of a sudden does support. Florida still sucks as fans even when TB and Miami are winning.

It's shameful, considering the MLB talent that Mizzou has produced

Went from having the longest postseason win streak in NCAA history to losing at home to VMI on opening day, all the while leaving the bases loaded in 3 separate innings. What a fricking disgrace.

if this team ever gets half the men it leaves in scoring position across home plate safely...things could get interesting this year.

That was us last season. Left so many men on base.

And then you have our case, where we're actually a great program but barely hit 50% capacity for home games

I think we are going to see a continued increase in attendance after the title. Get the bump this year and then it should hold over until we move into the new stadium.
