Because Alabama should of been in the playoffs anyways. We definitely would of represented the SEC better than Tennessee.

You don't think Texas getting embarrassed by Miami at the Cotton Bowl was motivating? Same with Florida getting boat raced by Nebraska in the Fiesta Bowl. That kind of big stage arse whipping can drive you through the dog days of summer with purpose.

So, you are hoping your team can be in the Reliaquest Bowl while the Vols play in the playoffs? Seems strange.
