17 points, not exactly most people would call "very close"

You're right. 17 isn't a close game.
With a closer look, one play made 14-point swing.

Nah, you must not have a good feel for your fanbase.

Franklin and Drink are exactly the image, personality, and sexual energy that the UF program embodies.

A bunch of unathletic nerds overcompensating for the lack of importance and micro-penis.

Florida isn't a better job than aTm or Vandy

FIFY
Franklin would be an excellent fit at UF.
Nico never lost to Alabama.

UF’s first SEC championship wasn’t until 1989.

Regardless UF will be fine.

Then keep Billy.
It sounds like you don’t realize that you don’t want Lane Kiffin.
I'll agree with this.

Usually the hires that seem like homeruns rarely meet expectations. There are way more Rich Rod's at Michigan that don't turn out.

Looking back some of the best hires over the last several years were not sexy at first. Heupel, Elko, Lanning... etc. I don't remember Ohio State being excited about Day.

If I were Florida, I'd hire Scotty Walden at UTEP. He's going to be a big time coach somewhere.
Billy Napier recruiting class rankings 24/7 sports:
2022 - 18th Nationally - 8th in SEC
2023 - 13th Nationally - 5th in SEC
2024 - 13th Nationally - 7th in SEC
2025 - 7th Nationally - 4th in SEC

Over that time he's only signed three 5 star players.

It looks like elite players are doing the opposite.
Stupid question: Who are Disney Gators?

Talent is very easy to get in Florida.

Not when the talent is going to other schools.
This will not land well with Florida fans. With the current state of UF’s administration, Ole Miss is a better job than UF.

That has to be fixed first. Then the investment into facilities and NIL. NIL can be a quick fix. The other two take years (if not decades).

Add in other Florida programs doing better, Miami, FSU, South Florida, even UCF, and the more competitive SEC teams (South Carolina, Vandy, aTm, Mizz…) the Florida job seems like a big uphill challenge.
