The Gateway Arch is a 630-foot-tall (192-meter) stainless steel monument located on the west bank of the Mississippi River in downtown St. Louis, Missouri.

i didn't realize how relatively new the arch was (opened in 1965) saw it for the first time in the 70's and the elevator was broken so we couldn't go up in it.

Made the ride up to the top of the Arch in 1998 when in St. Louis for the Big XII championship game.

The view of the repugnant blight in East St Louis from up there is unmatched.

the FBI data should not be used for comparison purposes because of differing and inconsistent geographic boundaries

Spent some time in St. Louis on business. Was extremely underwhelming. Flat. Boring. Shitty bland food. Neon casino signs ruining the riverview. What a shite hole.
