Well since the reply booth is overseen by bama grad, REC member (Shaw) and run by bama dad (Ritter) and admitted lifelong Bama fan. So you would be asking them to admit they themselves suck

You mean the same Ritter that is from texas, went to Rice, has never been proven to be a fan of Alabama and also never proven that his kids went to Alabama? That Ritter? Pretty sure that people were claiming for years that he was also a Bama grad.

Replay officials are washed up refs who can't hack it on the field so they put them in the booth!

Personally, I think every SEC official should be forced to take a polygraph. Just a few questions like have you ever bet on a game you officiated. Have you ever intentionally threw a flag or called a penalty while knowing it was not the correct call etc.

I'm serious, in fact ,if you made it mandatory that all officials take a polygraph, half would quit their jobs. ...and maybe work at Walmart as a greeter.

How long is the myth of a polygraph being able to detect lies going to last?

You guys still believe in the tooth fairy too?

The back judge in the UGA/Auburn game had no idea what PI actually was. Dude threw the most random, often incorrect flags and not just for ticky tack bullshite. He'd call marginal PI on one play, completely ignore blatant PI the next, call Deandre Baker for PI when it was actually blatant offensive PI, and then try to call PI at the end of the game when the ball was all but thrown away.

And then yesterday was the first time I've seen Holding called on an OL in a game all year. It was incredible, I thought they'd disbanded the rule or something but, nope, I guess it still exists for the cupcake games.

It would have been the worst, but the replay got it right.

On a somewhat related subject, the UF-FSU game should be interesting. FSU is trying to become bowl eligible and keep their winning season streak in place next week. With ACC refs, their will be some interesting calls I'm sure.

Based on a couple of comments on the TV yesterday, I would assume that the SEC is throwing their weight around with the broadcasters.

Dari spoke directly to the office through the camera because they’d gotten a call from the league and he “clarified” that they weren’t criticizing the officiating.

Gary Danielson obviously has been told that he needs to support every call with his analysis.

He had to "clarify" probably because when he went back and read the rule, he realized that he would look like a fricking moron if he didn't. No one with two brain cells to rub together can pause that video at the :07 mark and then say it was a bad call.

he had possession of the ball for 5 seconds prior, took 2 steps backwards, landed on his arse with the ball tucked...its amusing that the program that benefits most from this treachery would defend the treachery to the hilt

Yeah. That’s all that’s driving his analysis.

We got screwed at the end of the game against Kentucky with successive awful calls.

And Vanderbilt got screwed against us with a no call on Pass Interference in the endzone as time expired.

The lack of ability by replay to get it Right is really the kicker.

The SEC officiating has improved greatly since the 1990s. All of these tv games and camera angles prevent them from cheating like they use too. If you were about to beat an Alabama or Tenn back then you had to be convincing becauae the refs would just start throwing phantom hold flags or spot the ball for a first down if they pleased. It use to be very bad

2009 was the worst. Multiple bama examples but for Florida as well. Look at UF/Arkansas especially
