I've fished all over the west and in many other parts of the country. The trout fishing in Northern Arkansas is some of the best I've ever done.

Arkansas is a more "old school" type of place. You Aggies may find your "kind" isn't as "welcome" in some areas of the state.

That isn’t true. I’ve lived next to that area and they stay on their compound. It’s a bit over blown to be honest.

Use to be the place to go for gambling before Vegas. Use to be a vacation stop for high profile mobsters that were getting a lot of heat up in the big cities. Al Capone use to visit quite often. Babe Ruth had spring practice here.

We have already said please don't. We actually like visitors from outside the area. NW Arkansas is a wonderful place to visit.

However... when Texicans visit they don't leave. Y'all tend to come up for a weekend and then infest the place like roaches. We can't get y'all out of here with dynamite.

So when we finally escape from Jerry World... only come up for the game if you promise to go back home. Sure, some of you are welcome to stay. Once I finish moving back to the area if Old Sarge wants to move up to be my neighbor that would be fine. I promise to not even make the milkman jokes. But we don't want the rest of you. Please. Stay down there. Someone has to live in Texas. None of the rest of us want to do it.

These threads are always telling of people who have never been to NWA

Really please explain?

I lived in NWA for 6 years and have visited college station twice.

There are no comparisons between the two.

NWA is 10x better than college station. It’s not close. I bet all those people crossing the border are headed to college station so they can still feel like they are home

No doubt. Fayetteville has the epitome of "football weather" most of the year in a beautiful city. Those later games in the year can get a little too cold though.

the show Ozark,

That’s in Missouri

Arkansas is a beautiful state with great fishing and hunting.

Hot Springs is a cool area as is NWA.

Rest of the state is meh

Don't be mad you don't understand what UL@L means. But then again you're probably from Livingston Parish.
