Lane built a team that was entering the playoffs and a chance to win the Natty... and they told him he could not coach in the playoffs... yea, he is probably mad.
It would have been in OM's best interest to let Lane Stay and see what he could do in the playoffs...

Why would there be bad blood between them? Lane saved his arse from being unemployed drunk. He was going to come to LSU until Ole Miss hired.

kiffin is a better coach than golding... OM had a shot at a title, and hasn't sniffed such a shot in 60+ years..... I'd go all in, and try to win while you can.

Golding has a lot to be thankful of Kiffin. The only reason Pete is a HC is because Kiffin left Ole Miss and dragged it out.
