Is there any bad blood between Kiffin and Gelding?

Will that add to Saturday's plot?

According to Golding, no. At least he says that. Has Lane even mentioned Pete? I can't recall anything said directly about him from Lane.

Put some respekt on Gelding! His defense is only giving up 395 ypg and is ranked in the Top 100 of CFB.

I think the only bad blood is in the fan base. Golding and Quyphun aren’t your every day message board idiots like what we have on here.

I get the feeling they’re friends, but neither of them mind if people think there’s “bad blood”, neither of them mind the storylines
Wouldn’t surprise me if they text each other laughing about some of the stuff people say

Golding has said multiple times that they’re good and there’s no animosity. I could see Pete and Lane personally being ok. But Lane whether he admits it or not is still mad at Ole Miss and Keith Carter

Most coaches are friendly toward each other, with the big exception being Dabo.

Lane left and the man got a promotion and a raise. In real life, you don’t get mad about that.

I doubt Golding is mad about a salary and title increase in the profession
Would anyone have hired Golding away from Kiffin's staff as a head coach, he wasn't on too many radars

This. Although Lane does have a history of being really petty whenever another coach publicly comes after him. I can’t remember the guy’s name that used to be the A&M coach, but lane absolutely bullied the guy and you could tell it was affecting him

This is entirely untrue. He got several offers over the years but turned them all down, mainly because he was making more as a DC than he was offered as HC. He claimed for a long time that he did not even want to be a HC because he really likes just being a coordinator.

I keep praying that doesn’t bite us in the arse

Jimbo is the only coach I can remember Lane very publicly going after. Especially after Jimbo called him a clown and then talked shite about Saban

I do find the bad blood interesting. I mean, is he a terrible human being that you guys are happy to be rid of? Do you actually believe you're better off with Golding? That's what much of your fanbase says. If that's the case, why the bitterness and pettiness? What's the reason for the bad blood?
I don't really have a dog in the hunt. But if Ole Miss gets drilled by LSU, the meltdown in oxford may be one of the most epic things ever witnessed.

Lane hired Golding, Golding is now head coach.
Pete is good enough to have reached this point without Lane at some time, but Lane is the guy who was there.
Right now this game is a major story in college ball. Of course Peter isn't best friends with Lane right now.
After a few years, Pete will remember the opportunity Lane gave

I would assume none at all. Pete now is HC at an SEC program with a solid roster. Thats a hell of a promotion for him.

Lane doesn't talk about Pete. Pete has talked about Lane on a few occasions.
Clearly Golding misses his boss

I don't even think its that. I think this is CLK proving his reasoning for leaving.
