LSU will stop when the other SEC schools also agree to not play their 2022 players
Seems like LSU could just lead the charge here and make other schools the bad actors then.

I hope this helps.

Given how arbitrary the SEC has decided to be on which schools can do it and which schools can't, surely you can see why that wouldn't work.

I’ve already tried. He just doesn’t get it apparently.

You’re an idiot.
Anyone who takes such offense to a message board insult that they want to take physical action to remedy the insult is a literal moron.
It’s probably more genetic than anything in your cases however.

The dude is clueless and just keeps repeating himself.
I understand the point he's "trying" to make but it's disingenuous.

Why would LSU do that?

My counterpoint would be you probably get more goodwill value from doing this than those players add (to LSU or the other programs).
That said, I think practically you’ve dug in so much that you might not have a good white hat exit - too much inertia.

It wasn't a problem until LSU was interested in some of these players.

That didn’t force the SEC to change their rules. Getting sued by 40+ athletes did.
Like I said, you can’t even properly identify the actual plaintiffs, but you’re pretending to be some sort of law expert
I'm pretending to be someone who actually read the lawsuit instead of just ignoring it and claiming it was another eligibility case claiming everyone else doesn't understand.
I think at this point you guys are just being willfully ignorant.

The real problem is that the fans are excited about taking on the system that is perpetually “stacked against them” (I left perpetually outside the quotes because they wouldn’t use that word). So if the Athletic Department backed off now, the fans would scream “pussies” and call for the firing of the AD.

I'm literally quoting the lawsuit against you.
The SEC's lawsuit is not factual.
The case against the NCAA was a lawsuit filed by players.

You need to add in the fact that LSU fans are one of the dumbest fanbases and, by far, the most insecure fanbase. Those are probably connected to each other

I think LSU doesn't really have a choice but to defend itself. If the SEC sued all offending institutions, then I would see your point of view and LSU would be dumb to continue. Bc at that point it would be asking for special treatment... instead of calling out a double standard.

They’ve gone about it so aggressively and in such hostile fashion that it probably limits their options, agreed. Still seems like there could be some sort of negotiated outcome where LSU ends the saga and gets an “LSU wants to be an integrity leader for amateur athletics” attaboy from the SEC though (in my head)

You seem autistic. We understand what the lawsuit is about.
What you can't seem to grasp is this lawsuit is only possible because the conference responded differently in this case than they have some of the others, such as Bediako.
You'll repeat your trope about muh LSU trying to change the rules. Thats disingenuous, at best. These players did the exact same thing Bediako did. The conference changed their response, that's the only thing that was different.
