Every single Alabama native in the NFL played at Alabama?

No, just like every single LSU player in the NFL were not native Louisianans

We've always had players from LA.

The next coach will recruit LA and get his share of players.

You better be worried about aTm.

You just said "all of them."

You're jumping into a conversation in which you dont even what was being discussed.

You've never pulled Louisiana players like Saban does, nothing even close.

Its four decades with one title.

You are cherry picking again.

Alabama won a NC in the 40's, and then again in the 60's and 70's. Went though the 80's without one, but won another in the 90's. I know what you are trying to do, but it is not working. Most teams win one or two NC in their history (LSU has 4), but Alabama wins them in bunches.

So lets say Saban stays at LSU instead of leaving for the NFL, what do you think happens?

You are right, the expectations at Alabama are HUGE, and rightly so with its history and traditions.

The problem for LSU since Saban has returned to the SEC is that he had made many inroads in Louisiana recruiting

Coach Saban started recruiting "The Bottom"

Winning does, playing for and winning titles do, being on TV does, all things that Alabama does very well.

I agree and they know they are getting those things with Saban, not so much with some new guy.

It is quite smart to put Sark in place though, gives a feeling of continuity as opposed to bringing a new coach in.

Child, just when I thought you had grown a mind, you go and say something else stupid.

And by the way, you asked how many NFL players were taken out of Tuscaloosa. If they played at Alabama, all of them

Nobody will be able to recruit kids to Tuscaloosa the way saban and his staff have. Name one of the star players during this run that’s actually from Alabama. He goes out and gets kids from all over that would otherwise be at their state school.

Najee = usc or UCLA
Mac Jones = FSU or UF
Devonta smith = LSU
Waddle = UT or A&M

Not saying none of their guys are from Alabama but majority of them come from random places that saban steals.

Well, back in reality town the fanbase doesn't make the decisions.

And no top school is going to fire a coach in 2 years without good reason. They will get 3 years minimum unless there is just terrible things going on.

Again, if the coach is worried about this stuff, he's not the one we want.

You misunderstood the question.

A previous poster was talking about Alabama natives in the NFL, I was asking how many of them went to the NFL by way of Tuscaloosa.

You are speculating about the future, no one can see that. However based on past performance, Alabama will just chug along. The Alabama fan base will have nothing less.

Najee almost went to Michigan. Not sure where you are getting your information.

When has that ever happened at LSU?
LSU’s last 3 coaches have a Natty.

Only 1 of A1abana’s last 4 coaches have a Natty.

Flash in the pan!

Jesus man, thats what this entire thread is about. Are you drunk?

Which is why I brought up the point about Alabama only winning one title since the 1940's outside of the tenure of two GOAT coaches.

Did Alabama get two GOAT coaches or did Alabama make two coaches into GOATS? If you say Alabama made them, then I'm asking what quantifiable advantage Alabama has over any other top program.

Laughable ....Want to know reality at Bama after Saban? They have a history...Just ask Curry .....

The first part of that is easy. Saban is tGOAT. It's a near certainty that LSU's last 2 decades would look like Alabama's last 14 years.

As far as what would have happened at Alabama? It's simply impossible to say. Maybe Dabo gets the call a few years ago? I'd say odds are very high though that the last 14 would look more like LSU's last 14 than Tennessee's.
