Why does Texas have 1 national title in the last 50 years? We don't have institutionalized cheating. Sure, the alumni does $100 handshakes. But we don't do high level cheating like OU, A&M and Bama. Bama, you know your titles are all BS, right? Do you really think that so many kids from major metropolitan areas want to go to a crap academic school in the middle of nowhere?
Right after a unanimous SCOTUS decision laid the groundwork for NIL, Texas to the SEC came out in a month. Texas never wanted to be a part of SEC level cheating. Now, paying players is legit.
NIL isn't going away and Texas is going to bury all of you. I hope you had fun with CFB. You are all done.
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you:
The World According to Longhorn Fans.
? ? ?
Can you name 1 player with their hand out, wanting a big bag of money, that Texas has won in a recruiting battle?
If Texas had been cheating like A&M fans think, then dudes like Adrian Peterson would have been walking around in Longhorn gear.
Texas has backed away from a lot of players with the dirty Uncle or family friend in their ear, etc looking for a payday..
Not saying they are completely clean, but they've lost a ton of recruits through the years that grew up Horns fans and mysteriously got last minute visits from (insert SEC school here) and suddenly had no interest in Texas overnight.

No, they're really not. ON3 has quickly overtaken them because ON3 took all of their good analysts. Ever since, 247's rankings have slipped a great deal. ON3 will take everything good about 247, and then they'll do it better. That's what Lucky does.

This is the quickest that classes have filled up in history. Why? Because teams can not only offer limited spots but guaranteed money. The $EC will do what they did last year, wait and land the big fish and flip whoever else they want from the south. Last year will play out every year.

I'm sorry but the days of the SEC taking who they most want in recruiting is about over. Now that everything is out in the open, recruits are going to take advantage of the economic advantages that the B1G has to offer.

Or they realized they don't want to spend 3-4 years dodging bums in Austin trying to around campus, play in front of 50,000 quiet fans who disappear at halftime, and cry themselves to sleep once a year wondering how the frick they lost to Kansas.

texas is paying high school kids to commit and to stop taking more visits to other schools. Money is being exchanged with high school players. This is different than what A&M did, which was to promise payment when enrolled.
High school coaches are complaining loud and clear.
Legal action forthcoming, not from NCAA or SEC, but from other universities directly suing horn collectives. The wild west will get wilder.
A&M could get hit in the crossfire, we’ll see how much truth is there to Jimbo’s statements. But the 5-7 horn collective paying high school kids will likely get taken to court. High school coaches to act as witnesses.
Does your source happen to be a gay 47 year old cokehead?

I'm not familiar with On3, but the 247 composite is a mixture of all recruiting services and that is why it's always been the standard.

Kansas has beaten Texas 4 times ever..and two of those were before your last national championship.

The bigger recruits wait to announce on NSD.
So it's no surprise the lower tier recruiting schools load up on the gimmes early.

Lol. A&M just signed the highest rated class in history an LSU is coming off a sub .500 2 year stretch and cleaned house. Frick Ole Miss.

The Midwest (the Rust Belt) is falling behind the Southeast (the Sun Belt) both economically and in population shift.
This has been occurring the last 3 decades.
