re: Is it really true that Tennessee's pass defense is ranked #128 out of 131 teams?

Cakewalk. Stop Richardson, you stop Florida. He is Easily best athlete on the team

128th in passing yards per game
51st in pass efficiency

The numbers would be worse if not for Akron and Ball State.

I mean, Anthony Richardson is not a good passer and he went for 453 yards (previous career high was 168).

Everyone needs to go ahead and set a reminder to smash the yardage over for Stetson passing yards vs. Tennessee.

If that clown can chunk 453 on them, Stetson is about to rain an entire nuclear arsenal down upon them. Same for Bryce Young.

Pitt's QBs aren't exactly slouches.

Pitt is averaging 238 passing yards a game for #77 in FBS. 4 TD passes over 4 games. That is pretty slouchy.

It’s what happened when he coached our offense. If you have great skill players it’s exciting & deadly. When he doesn’t convert 3rd downs your defense will be left out to dry.

What surprises me is Tenn. high flying offense only has roughly 330 yards more than LSU’s “boring” offense

If the two teams swapped schedules to date the difference would be so easy to see even an LSU fan would understand it.

Why yes Slovis has. He played the entire game vs the FCS Rhode Island Rams this past weekend and put up a whopping 189 yards with no TDs. I appreciate that you would bring that up.

Pass defense:
LSU: #8 (#2 in the SEC)
UT: #128 (#14 in the SEC)

LSU pass defense stats are about to plummet come next Saturday once they finally face a real passing attack.

Auburn's passing attack isn't very good.

They will likely throw for 300 on Tennessee though.

Yes it’s bad Down there with Sparty, who is absolute dog shite. Except MSU is paying Mel Tucker 95 million to field a team with no cornerbacks and safeties. Pretty impressive

Tennessee first team has played 3 games - 2 full games plus 2 half games. Had 2 games wrapped up in the first half and had second and third teamers playing the second half.

And lose by 17. I guess you can claim a statistical moral victory.
