No, too much talent in state and in the south and psychotic boosters would sell their soul to win

Demographics are working against Nebraska and FOR Bama.

Just look at the recent murder by a basketball player.

I heard on Josh pate’s show that Mobile Alabama will have more first round picks than any other city 2 years in a row so no, Alabama will not turn in to Nebraska.
That doesn’t mean that aren’t capable of sucking. As long as Alabama is committed to being good in football, they will be.

Alabama can absolutely be bad, they don't have some kind of magic potion in the modern era that elevates them above any other elite program.

They probably won't be Nebraska level atrocious just due to their talent level though.

That starts to snowball eventually too, recruits today doesn't see Nebraska as an elite football school because they haven't done anything in their lifetime.

The average 4/5 star is 1,000 miles from Lincoln, NE and would be about as comfortable there as the avg SECranter would in NYC.

Integration and the forward pass were the death of Nebraska.

Integration? They were a dynasty in the 90s.

Recruiting talent in the south, boosters and resources will make it almost impossible for any big 6, fsu, Mia or Clemson to be permanently frozen out. I think atm even though they haven’t is probably only a decent hire away. Same for Texas when they join. Nebraska hasn’t proven they can overcome poor instate recruiting. I would say Oklahoma is the closest to potentially becoming a Nebraska once they hit the sec. Sooners have Arkansas 2.0 written all over them

And Stallings, Thomas and Wade. Even through the lean times in the 50’s and late 90’s through early 2000’s Over the last 97 years Bama has averaged a title just over every 5 years. That’s a long period of sustained success through several eras of coaches.

Could it happen, I guess; but Nebraska is in a talent desert and in a conference where they don’t fit well.
