Who are these high profile coaches?
Lane Kiffin-dude has won nothing and hasn’t even been interviewed when blueblood jobs came open outside of USC and I can promise you they would never entertain the thought of bringing him back.
Will wade- LOL
Kim Mulkey- isn’t she from right down the road in Hammond?
Baseball coach- yes, LSU is a better job. There are only a handful of programs in the national that actually invest in baseball with LSU being the most invested. With what they put into baseball they can get anybody.
it’s not like LSU landed Urban, Dan Hurley or Brad Stevens

OP,
BR is most definitely the premier city. No doubt about it.
The others are jealous of it.

If you think Jackson, MS with an SEC team is premier, then sure.

Honestly I'd rank it on the list of places I've spent any amount of time in Just below Kandahar but slightly ahead of Kabul.

It’s 100% above Oxford, Tuscaloosa and Knoxville just to name a few.

Only one major university… I will never understand how LSU and Arkansas consistently undeliver.
