I hadn’t even noticed.
But now that I think about it, maybe it’s a cheat sheet for the NCAA. They’ve been flunking biology lately.

No pronouns, don't care

What's the problem? It's young men playing baseball, is it not?

Yes it bugs the crap out of me, but like everything they do, I get on board and want more of it. I want the MNBA with the Men's Finals, the MMLB with the Men's World Series, and the MNFL with the Men's Super Bowl. Let's shove it down their throats until they choke on it.

The is the CWS (college world series) then there is the WCWS (women's college world series)....2022 shaking my head why do we have to add the word men's in front.
Yeah and Istanbul was Constantinople, now it's Istanbul not Constantinople
Big fricking deal, names are subject to change sometimes. The world is not a stagnant place.

It amazes me the trivial things snowflakes get upset about. Why would anyone care that the NCAA has been calling it the Men's CWS for several years?

The Menba. Has a nice ring to it.

Well are we actually sure that all the players are men?

Those aren’t really good examples because there isn’t a womens equivalent to MLB or NFL.

Well I guess it's helpful if can't tell the difference between baseball and softball. I am also looking forward to this year's Men's Football season.

doesn’t really bother me, but I think everyone knows this was done to garner some virtue points.

Anyone upset by that is a gaping vagina

What bothers me is them celebrating Title IX during this. It has single handedly held back men's college sports more than you can imagine. 11.7 scholarships is a JOKE. Holds back every other men's sport as well.

quote:There isn't a women's equivalent to college baseball either. Rather than change the nomenclature of the CWS, which the NCAA mandated in 2008 when it granted Omaha a 25-year extension to host the CWS, the women's softball world series should have changed its name. The softball professional league is called National Pro Fastpitch (NPF). The women should call their event the Fastpitch College World Series. Its their event and it deserves a unique name that doesn't require a gender qualifier.
Those aren’t really good examples because there isn’t a womens equivalent to MLB or NFL.

Yep, why are they assuming the players genders?
Posted on 6/18/22 at 9:20 pm to TheCheshireHog
Exactly the point of the OP. Why the need to change it? Was the College World Series forever... have to designate it's the men's world series? Like previous poster said, inch by inch. Bunch of "what's the big deal" betas... bet you could exchange tight jeans and hairstyles with your "partners" and not notice a difference.
