3+ years removed and y’all are still using this stupid line?
Damn, it’ll be 20 years down the road and y’all will still blame their crappy seasons on him.
Here’s a hint: the guy they hired after Jimbo that they fired after just two seasons didn’t do them any favors.

You think Saban is responsible for Gus getting fired?
I think Saban is the reason Aubie has to roll the dice on an "up and coming" coach from a west school because nobody proven and elite wants to coach in the same state as Saban.

No one will be talking about Jimbo Fisher twenty years from now except to point and laugh at more total failures by A&M.

Firing a coach two seasons after going 15-0, having a Heisman winner and winning the national title will make it not very attractive
Although I would agree with that as far as job security goes, the fact that Ed O and Les Miles have been able to win national championships just 12 years apart should make it attractive to many coaches who would like the chance to win a national championship. LSU has big advantages in regards to recruits with so many talented guys being from Louisiana and LSU being the only major football program in the state.

It will be interesting to see what happens at Alabama when Saban retires. Who is going to want to follow the GOAT?
Good point. It's like a rock band being told they're on right after the Rolling Stones.

Lane Kiffin at LSU would get them the death penalty. Lol. He’d have over 9 sexual assault allegations on his own
bullshite. If he won a Natty, they'd give him their wives and daughters to bang. They'd probably cheer him on. "frick her good, Lane."

And 3 out of the last 4 Auburn coaches have gone undefeated, and the other played for a NC. And they don’t mind paying big bucks.
And one National championship. Anyone that thinks LSU isn’t the second best program I the sec is crazy

Florida is a better program and job, but y'all have better food

LSU has won three NC's this century, each one under a different HC. That fact would attract good HC's to take a shot at the LSU job when it comes open in the 2030s.

Losing to Saban doesn't get coaches fired. Losing to Ole Miss, State, and Tennessee is what gets coaches fired.

I don't know about you, but someone throws $5+ million per at me, that job becomes attractive.

We had so many coaches banging on our door last year, the neighbors called the cops.

A slobbering dolt could win at LSU. Take the current hc for example.

Not Gus...
Will Muschamp, Jeremy Pruitt & probably Kirby Smart are responsible for running Gus.

1) Alabama
2) LSU
3) Texas A&M
4) Auburn
5) Ole Miss
6) Arkansas
7) Miss State
Alabama is clear cut the top. The next 3 are interchangeable as are 5&6. Arkansas has more resources but perhaps a little more difficult to get top recruits than OM. State is at the bottom of a good list so itself isn’t particularly bad.

After all, you have go through Alabama even to win the west. That’s why Billy Napier of ULL turned down the Auburn job. Nick Saban is responsible for so many coaches getting the axe!

So you're saying Jimbo didn't run Florida State into the ground?

Amazing how much of this thread is about Jimbo.
