We are loaded at RB and worst case anyone can play QB to just hand the ball off if the line can block.

Nope. Just saying QB wasn't critical, considering the QB play we have had. Anyone can come in and hand the ball off.

Here's a real brain buster for you. Would Bama have beaten LSU on 1/9 if Maze hadn't gotten injured which resulted in Norwood coming in to scorch the honey badger?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but AJ played lights out. He put the ball where it had to be. PP couldn't have defended those balls. Now the WR's had to catch, but still, the ball was where it had to be, so the WR just had to catch the ball. They made some great catches as well. Gotta give credit where credit is due.

Torched??? How bout, "completed a pass on the honey badger"? I recall Bama scoring exactly one touchdown, in the 4th quarter, on a running play on 1/9.

The Bama fans hate for Mathieu is a serious mental disorder. I truly believe that next year in Tuscaloosa some Gump with "too much Bama in him" is going to charge the field and chop block Mathieu during pre-game warmups.

There was a thread on tiger rant a few days ago that was asking who else would like to see mccarron injured in the state game.

You have a serious mental disorder if you believe TM7 will play next year

He is. And he plans on making another Bama CB quit like last season.

Sorry guys but maze doesn't make this play. There was another one as well that was also a big play in the game.

Now maze could have made some different types of plays, but he wasn't going over the top.

I forgot that Bama destroyed LSU through the air with a backup and Darius Hanks. All 5'11 of him.

Does this mean we can claim get rid of those losses in 2010? Pretty sure we had some injuries.

Looks like very good coverage to me. Wouldn't expect that from somebody that "Is a liability in pass coverage". Great throw, better catch... congrats.

As for the thread on Tiger Rant wishing to hurt McCarron. I didn't see it, but I'm not saying it didn't happen. I'm 100% certain that if there was a post saying that, that not everyone in the thread would have agreed with the poster. The amount of hate I have seen from Bama fans towards Mathieu starting in last October is astounding. 95% of the Bama posters truly do hate the guy.

Probably not. We lost Mike Johnson and Andre Smith before/during the Sugar Bowl and ended up getting rolled by Utah. We couldn't run the football and John Parker Wilson didn't have the arm to really make a difference through the air.
The offensive line is where it's at.

That's all most real Tiger fans are saying; some lamenting of the losses of Faulk, Hurst and Williford is only natural. What might have been, so to speak. Anyway, I think the Tigers have suffered to many injuries and departures to defeat the Tide at this point barring some type of bizarre circumstance. I think the count is up to 12 or 13 starters or two-deep personnel down or gone since the spring game. Just one of those years.

God forbid I just lay out the facts about injuries. That is like saying in 08, we were playing with our 4th qb. Tell me if UF could have played their 4th qb and still won the NC. Doubt it.

RP
Hatch
Lee
Jefferson

i get it, it is part of the game.

Why would we need an excuse in a win? Like why didn't we win by 50, maybe?

Again, not making excuses. Everyone has injuries. People are just bitching about how we can't pass and I think it has to do with the injuries on the o line and having to put two rb's in the backfield to help block, taking away putting wr's on the field. I understand Mett could throw better and the WR could catch better.

I know people dgaf, but honestly, would Bama still be # 1 if they lost Jones, Fluker and Warmack and had to play backups this year on the o line?

I am not sure they are, although they have recruited well obviously.

Most likely not. Bama had those type of injury issues on the offensive line in 2010 and ended up losing three games that year.
