The amount of hate I have seen from Bama fans towards Mathieu starting in last October is astounding. 95% of the Bama posters truly do hate the guy.
I don't hate TM7, I just hated fricking Brent Mussberger's constant "Honey Badger" bullshite all season long. Kinda like I didn't hate Tebow, I just hated Vern Lundquest & Gary Danielson slobbering all over "Tebow" every freaking week, even after Bama made him cry on the sidelines.

Honestly, I enjoyed watching TM7 play ball and I hope he can get back on the field at some point. I hate to see talent wasted.

IMO, this current lineup is the best O-Line LSU has put on the field (Faulk would make it better).

They are just young and need the experience. Bodes well for next year.

I recall Bama scoring exactly one touchdown, in the 4th quarter, on a running play on 1/9.

Which is one more than LSU has scored against Bama's D since 2010.

You may not remember (or want to remember) but Alabama and LSU have played since then.

If you're talking TD's....then yes

If you're talking points.....then no

Agree. I think a few of these injuries were unexpected gifts. Vadal is an upgrade in the run game and is gonna be tough in the next couple years. The Oline looked magnitudes better against SCar than the Gators.

*Obviously, Faulk was a big loss.

LSU is playing without 3 All-Americans?

I enjoy some LSU fans and Bama fans when they think injuries or suspensions or losses made their team better.

Let me be unequivocal: a healthy Faulk, Hurst, Williford, and Lonergan are demonstrably better than Dworaczyk, Turner, Porter, and Alexander.

A banged up Hurst with family life problems did struggle. When he's right, he's a monster and he has the record to prove it.

Can you not agree that this current line-up has played better than any other we put on the field?

We miss Faulk, for sure.

This lineup is not better than any lineup that contained Faulk this year. That statement is beyond reproach. By definition, any subsequent lineup since his injury has been worse. I mean Jesus Christ, we absolutely plowed Northern Tejas asunder. 508 yards 316 on the ground. We have played less capable opponents and haven't even approached those numbers.

It was N. Texas

I'd say USCe and A&M are much better gauges.

I know.

The lineup including Faulk in the opener was the best. It doesn't really matter what you think the best gauge is. We have a game this year and a whole body of evidence last year to put up.

Bama folks, you take out 5 starters for the year, 2 more starters in and out, 3 back ups that play, out for year, then tell me you would be as strong as you are now. Don't give me that crap about "injuries are part of the game". We are not as strong as we were in August. It will be a good game anyway. Reality is not an excuse. You will never hear Miles talk about the cards he has been
delt. Ever!!!!!

What do you mean sad. The topic is injuries. Do you think you would be as confident if the injury situation was flipped? Yes/no. I am not conceding anything. I am answering the subject question. My team will fight like hell and we shall see.
