In Flowood MS for work this week. Help Needed

And I’ll I’ve packed for the week was LSU Polos. I’ve already been mean mugged by a couple of old men at the local Chevron.
I watched Mississippi Burning for the first time about a year ago and Brother Lanes comments a few weeks back has me worried that this part of the country hasn’t changed much in the past 60 years.
Need advice from some of the Mississippi baws on this board on if this would be a safe area for people like me to be out after dark or should I lock myself in my hotel room before the sun goes down?

You are safer in Flowood MS then just about any place you could be in Baton Rouge. Plenty of LSU fans in Jackson Metro as well.

Flowood is too dangerous. Need to go to some of the safer Baton Rouge like areas of the state like Jackson, Greenville, and Meridian.

Flowood has some sketchy spots. I still feel safer there than in Louisiana.

What do you do for work that requires you to travel to Flowood, Mississippi? Do you sell vacuum cleaners?

If you’re looking to feel at home, west of I-55 will give you a definite Baton Rouge vibe, but just like in BR keep your head on a swivel and don’t come to a full stop at red lights over there.

have you ever been to BR? i have lived here my whole life and have never felt this way. idk what businees anyone on here would have that requires them being in the ghetto at night but man yall must be some shady mofo's that say or think this
