What a Lie

Woody Hayes Statute

You really can't differentiate between a University building statues of coaches and having ceremonies for those statues vs a private off campus gift shop putting a mini Woody Hayes statue out front?

That gift shop is not affiliated with the university.
The university had nothing to do with the statue.

Indeed.

And Urban paid a recent return visit to Columbus
in effort to help promote those "higher standards"

Ohio State has 4 coaches that have won football national championships.
No need to build statues.

Is the Woody Hayes practice facility a part of the University, because there is another one there too.

Not a coach, a chemistry professor. wiki

Clifford Leroy Hare was a member of Auburn University’s first football team who went on to serve as chair of the Auburn Faculty Athletic Committee. Auburn’s football stadium, Jordan–Hare Stadium, is co-named for the longtime professor and dean of the School of Chemistry. He served as president of the Southern Conference before the formation of the Southeastern Conference.

Dye’s pants are up too high. Not a true rendition of the man.

A statue of Dye, just shows Auburn has no shame. But what is funnier is that John Heisman coached there and they have somebody ten times greater than Dye to honor. A giant of the sport well known for class and sportsmanship. A real role model for the young folks to look up to. But nope, a man who was so dirty nobody else would hire him despite his record gets a statue on the plains. It is so Auburn.

OSU put a statue of a man who slapped one of his own players.
He should have slapped the idiot oracle of JoeMontana.

Chizik deserves a statue. The man coached Auburn to the greatest season in AU’s history and was a major factor for another perfect season and SEC Title. Chizik actually added to the Auburn legacy, unlike John Heisman….who Auburn enshrined because he had a cup of coffee there.
