It’s important for Ole Miss folks to also recognize that if Lane had never showed up to begin with then your program mirrors Arkansas. He built a winner. Tell him thanks. Find peace. Support your new guy. Move on.

Kiffin was the best thing to have happened to that program in the lifetime of anyone alive today.

They said so themselves a year ago.

Support your new guy.

Not defending the Rebels, but the way Lane left is unprecedented in sports.

I get why they are pissed. No one in their right mind would guess a coach would ditch a playoff team.

Important PSA for LSU fans. If you lose to Ole Miss Saturday, you mobilized the entire mechanism of Louisiana politics up to the governor, spent $150m+ just to lose to Ole Miss.

He didn't. He ditched Ole Miss for LSU. Which makes total sense, and tried to coach that team til the end. Ole Miss, unlike James Madison and Tulane, got petty.

Think ole Miss fans definitely need to move on after Saturday regardless of the outcome. That said, what does it say about lsu if they lose? They got jealous of the success ole Miss was having so they stole their coach, assembled the most expensive coaching staff in history, sold their sole to private equity to pay for a roster, and then loss to a 1st year head coach to a team with far fewer resources.

That’s would be the very term view but I wouldn’t trade our future with Lane for your future with “Booger” Golden.

Lane, not Golding, pulled the rotting OM program from the dumpster and made it relevant.

Tell yourself whatever gets you through the night. You lost the savior of your program and the current success that you’re enjoying is still based on what Kiffin built.
