Yes he was - along with players from almost every school in the P5.

2019 IMG players signed with.......
- Georgia
- Alabama
- Penn State
- FSU
- Oregon
- Arkansas
- USC
- Michigan
- Syracuse
- Auburn
- LSU
- Wisconsin
- Tennessee
- Appalachian State
- Indiana
- Missouri
- USF
- Clemson
- UAB

Don't be so sensitive. I just remember thinking it was strange a player from Alabama would leave the state and play for them. The competition in Alabama HS Football is decent enough to not have a need to transfer.

Not being sensitive, just noting how if this guy was changing grades it would basically throw college football upside down.

Guys go to IMG because 1. The individual coaching is better 2. Living in Bradenton beats most places and 3. The exposure is as good as it gets.

The academic stuff isn’t a primary reason why they go to there, just a perk if they’re already on the margin

Most of the elite were elite before they transferred there. That is what I have never understood (until now), why would you leave your home to go to a school that plays 8 games and doesn't compete for a State Championship. If you play for a 1A team in Vermont, Utah or NM, maybe, but the competition in most of those states where they are from is pretty good.

they get better coaching and more practice time. IMG is nothing but an athlete factory.

So this guy was a Harvard grad, and they were investigating it out of the Boston FBI office and Harvard skates without a blemish? I'll bet dollars to doughnuts the FBI agents involved have ties to Harvard.

This article is extremely poorly written for Fox:

quote:

Mark Riddell was spended from his position at IMG Academy. He is accused of helping students on their SAT and ACT exams. (IMG Academy)

quote:

Riddell called Singer after the exam and predicted his client’s son would scare a 35 out of 36 on the exam

My guess is the Boston FBI Office is involved because of the other investigation involving the shoe companies. Amazing what they can find with a wiretap.

P.S Havard Grads do not work for $130K per year.

I know a couple people that graduated from Harvard that make much less. Of course they're all young, so maybe in 10 years that'll change.

Take the tinfoil hat off for while bro or take it back to ITAT where it will fit in. I know you want to make this about Bama like you hinted with Bo.

I was being facetious , but it isn’t a career that most would choose. You see very few Ivy League Grads make it until retirement in the Military. They will serve their obligation and then leave to make some money. There is always a few exceptions .

No Bro, this is about corruption in College sports. IMG is just an easy example.

They go to that school where they puff up their grades to become eligible for college admissions. It's obvious what they've been up to and surprised it's lasted this long.
