Past success has never mattered less at any point in CFB history. There’s some fanbases out there that will really struggle to ever accept this reality. The game’s been rigged in their favor their whole life, so an even playing field seems like a personal attack

Hell, it only took 6 years

What do you call winning big? Winning a NC?

Yes, or at least an SEC championship, something

Well he has a chance at it this year.

Perhaps. It'd be the least talented team to win a championship in the modern era.

Programs with no history keep saying this yet elite programs keep winning natties.

They're also stacking the most talent, just like always.

In A&M's specific case, they're technically an elite program, as far as resources go, at this point, just haven't got the coach right. Maybe it is now.

LSU is struggling bad with the new era. The baseball team has embraced it 100%, but in football its just not getting through.

One bit of advice for Ole Miss. Hold on to your wallet. You are getting ready to get ravaged by Kiffen/ Sexton. In a bidding war between Ole Miss, UF, PSU and LSU y’all may have to mortgage the campus to keep Kiffen. Maybe just give him the University it maybe cheaper in the long run. Lane Kiffen U.
Good Luck, i truly hope LSU avoids getting taken to the financial woodshed by Kiffen/Sexton.

Don't come on here and act like Ole Miss is some blue blood, Kiffin made you.. There is a reason you were more known for your tailgating than your football program, you had to get wasted to watch the football team play.. Between Kiffin and the NIL/transfer portal they both get the credit for you having 2 good seasons.. You think you are some elite program, calm down you have yet to make the playoffs.. You are always good to choke one away down the stretch, which game will it be this year??

Coming in 2026. Those are always fun. Especially after the last 10 days on here and the next 5 weeks.

You are trying to manifest Kiffin staying way too hard.

I personally feel that Kiff would kill it at LSU consistently. But with that being said, he is going to stay at Ole Miss

You mean like 25 other schools in the Big 10 and SEC?

Nah, we want Kiffin. But, I think you underestimate how quickly people move on to the next target while shopping. It isn’t some traumatic experience like Ole Miss fans would experience if he were to leave. We simply aren’t as invested in him as you are, so it is a disproportionate melt opportunity.

If you really want to laugh at us, do it a lot when we end up hiring Dorkwitz. The image of him showing up wearing a suit, some hideous Jordans, and chomping…That image might finally be enough to get me to give up on this fricked up sport.

I remember “The SEC is scared of Riley” till Riley chose USC instead, then it quickly became “Riley is scared of the SEC”

I'm on record here as not being that high on Kiffin. His success in big games is equivalent or worse to Kelly's, though he admittedly does get a bump for having the same level of success as Kelly in the SEC, but at an also-ran program in Ole Miss.

To be completely honest, I don't care if we get Lane or not. Can he be successful at LSU? Of course. Can he also coach himself out of a championship doing stupid stuff? Yep.

I don't know who is going to be crushed more when Lane is still in Oxford in 2026, UF fans or State fans.

I love our LSU fans

Simultaneously call Kiffin overrated yet state if we win it will be the least talented team this insinuating Kiffin is in fact, a good coach.

I think he’s going to Florida or LSU

So one of them will definitely have to say we really didn’t want Kiffin

So in that way, you are guaranteed to be right

You will also have some of your fans say “ we really didn’t want Kiffin”. As well
