I'm a fan of both teams unless they're playing. One parent Bama one parent AU and I spent most of my childhood outside of Alabama.

This isn't remotely true. Bama fans I know follow every little detail about Auburn and often tell me stuff I don't even know. Like how Auburn's third string running back's recruiting battle went down and shite. Auburn fans just care less about football than Bama fans from what I can tell.

In recent history, 2012-2022, Bama has been the measuring stick of the SEC west so everyone is chasing them. That wasn't the case in the early-mid 2000's when Tuberville was making Bama fans "fear the thumb". Bama was an afterthought at that point because beating them had nothing to do with winning the west or a national title.

You don't really believe any of that, you are just blindly defending him because he's now your coach and you have to because the alternative is to admit your school has completely sold out any moral high ground they had to try to win football games.

So instead of showing the least bit of objectivity here you are digging in and calling other people names to deflect from what your own school is doing.

He was sleezy at the HC level according to the people around the school.

He hired hookers for underage players at Ole Miss and then claimed they were for him when he realized how much trouble he was about to get in while lying through his teeth to recruits when the sanctions were about to hit. That doesn't even touch all the allegations his own players were making about his assistants paying them.

Then he went to Liberty under that cloud and is now leaving as the allegations break that he was tampering with victims who claim to have been sexually assaulted and are part of an ongoing federal investigation.

Hugh Freeze is the essence of everything that is ugly about college football in 2022. Might as well bring in Art Briles as OC and dig in a little deeper.

If it makes you feel any better, supposedly the hookers were for a recruits. Though I'm not sure if his wife believes that.

See, the thing is…it’s not.

Everyone in that town and at that school obsess about football, Saban, & Alabama 24/7. Anything good that ever happens is immediately compared to whether or not Alabama has done it. Hiring Hugh Freeze is just the logical step of Auburn Man being true to form. Win at all costs. The difference between Auburn and every where else is that as soon as Auburn starts losing, you all start spewing this BS about Auburn is more than Football. It’s just not.

The AU reality show continues. Is anyone really surprised that they would hire this scumbag and act like everything he did wasn't a big deal?
The NCAA might just go ahead ant rent apartments in Auburn Alabama. The next scandal is coming and yet another coach will be leaving AU to face the music soon. AU never never learns. WINNING is the only thing that matters to them and they will sell their souls and abandon any pretense of honor or morality to do so. Pathetic!
