UNC is the flagship school of a prominent SE state. They are a take if we can get them. It’s going to be a SEC Big fight, but Carolina wants into the SEC. Do we take Clemson and FSU?

Vandy has a solid baseball program and is an elite academic school. They're not leaving

They’ve basically had nothing to cheer about in their history so I’m not really surprised.
Willy B at South Carolina seats 80k. That's hardly an excuse....

There is commotion that the Big 10 will take Duke and Wake Forest. Possibly Syracuse and Pitt as well
Are you serious?

Not a single Big 12 school that pathetic.
There is no school you could add to the SEC to increase shares, as much as dropping Vandy would.
I don't care about rules, etc. I will NEVER support the ouster of any "charter" member of the SEC. Never. All of you add ons....can kick rocks for all I care, especially The Longhorns.

UNC has a national brand superior to any other school not in the SEC or Big 10 outside of Notre Dame. You take them & their little stadium. After two years in this meatgrinder, it will be full of opponents fans anyway.

It’s that small because they struggle to sell out games.

Vandy is a charter member, the SEC would get rid of Texas before Vandy.
Yeah no, the SEC will do whatever ESPN tells it to do.

Disagree. The landscape has changed my naive friend. Vanderbilt's Oak Tree leaf has been replaced by $$$$$$$$.

Baylor and TCU are both astronomically better members than Vanderbilt. And we made fun of them in the Big 12.
Vandy is like the midget in high school. Everybody loved him.
Somebody sounds skeered.

The only reason people want UNC and Virginia is for the wins in football. SEC fans aren’t ready for the best schools going 9-3 or 8-4 by turning into the NFL lite. Virginia Tech and NC State would bring better football and fans.

Remind again. When was the last time Ole Miss won the SEC in Football please? Was it before or after Hitler committed suicide?

Keenan was built in '25...
Sanford Stadium in Athens was originally built exactly the same in 1929. Both stadiums had the same architect and Sanford was modeled after Keenan.
Obviously Sanford has expanded exponentially over the years tho to 93,000.
When I graduated in '77 I think Sanford held less than 60,000. We increased capacity to 82,000 in '81 I believe....
