You'd think, but it always had a 2021 season completion date from the start.
LSU had a similar renovation of their endzone several years ago. They broke ground at the end of the 2012 season and were done by the start of the 2014 season. Texas started this project in the Spring of 2019. Just seems like a longer than necessary project for what they're building
Miss State also built this, which is basically what Texas is doing, in just over a year

I wouldn't think the visiting team would enter and exit the field through this. I'd think they would have a separate smaller tunnel in one of the corners and not have access to a main staple of the stadium like that.
