TAMU was in the SIAA but got drug away by Utx a few years after Utx left to form the SWC because they could not compete in the SIAA. 100 years later TAMU rejoined the SIAA (now the SEC)

Not really, they were just returning to where they had been a century before.

Sec should change it's name. A&M and Mizzou are not in the southeast. A&M may be in the sec, but the State of Texas as a whole is still big 12 territory.

Texas isn’t pushing anyone around in SEC. They owned the Big 1 1/2 but they wouldn’t own the SEC. The SEC doesn’t need them, OU or aTm for that matter.

That’s what Nebraska thought.

And it ended up being a lose/lose for both parties.

Nebraska and the big 12 were better off when they were in the conference.

We already own Texas, so not an option. Our next expansion will be Va or Va Tech and NC State.

A$M would blackball UT. And they wouldn’t be the only team to vote No.
Any expansion will come from the east.

Let’s just get a team from Texas that WON’T publicly ride the Tide.

I mean, I don’t like Texas in the least, but they at least have some form of controlling themselves.

They only dickride themselves. I’ve never seen Texas ride a conference foe.....much less on in their same division.

It would add about $5M to each teams payout.

How is it going to do that when ESPN already gets the in-state subscription rate due to A&M?

"run away" to something more difficult is not accurate.
It's not like they left the Big XII and went to conference USA.
They actually elected to pass on playing the likes of Kansas, Texas tech, and Iowa State year in and year out.

You didn’t understand my question.

Texas doesn’t dickride OU like aggy does Alabama.

If you have evidence, please show me.

I’m talking about the kind of riding you have seen on this board that makes you cringe when you read it and say to yourselves,

“What is with texas’ love Affair with the sooners?”......but in an aggy bama kind of way.

In real life and on the Texas boards Texas fans pulled for bama to beat ou and lose the Natty. On here they pulled for ou since sec teams love to ride bama's success.

My point exactly.

No thing like the aggy bama lap dance we’ve seen for the last two months here.

It’s odd. That is why we laugh at the aggy.

Name one other school that fervently, publicly d-rides their own divisional foe.

That's make no sense. Nebraska was in the Big 1 1/2 which Texas already owned.
It's got nothing to do with the SEC.

Texas would come on the SEC's terms.

Your response indicates how totally traumatized aTm was by UT's dominance. "Thank you sir, may I have another." should be aTm's motto.

Good job Gump! Make sure you defend your little brother and the only one who likes you! It's probably because aTm gets off on the wedgies you give them every year but the Johnny Jokeball years.
