After beating Bama, is this true or false?

It would be frustrating no doubt, but with the combination of LSU going from Stone Age Offense to making a Saban Defense their Bitch, an LSU QB winning the Heisman, 4 Top Ten Wins, Joe Brady being signed to a long term deal, and recruits finally looking at LSU as the "it" program to be excited about, it wouldn't be too bad.

I think that's fair. I still worry about our D, but there were a lot of mental mistakes and Delpit showed what 2 weeks without practice does to being game ready. If they get healthy and clean up the miscues absolutely we should expect this to be a championship run.

Not the question.

If LSU doesn’t win the national title or loses in the playoff, is this season deemed a success?

I’m truly curious to see how Tiger fans feel.

Beating you guys was enough for me. I’m content. Beating you next year will be great too.

I am all good just seeing 46-41 by your name for a year. You are one of the most hateful peeps I have ever read comments from. Not sure why all the hate about LSU. But good luck on the rest of your adventures.

Depends. If we win the SEC, Joe wins the Heisman, and we lose a good game in the playoff to Ohio State or something, it would be a bit of a bummer but I don’t see how you could say the season was a disappointment.

If we lost another Bama rematch that would be worse, but still would be a great year

LSU fans so far seem to be leaning “just glad to finally beat Bama”

With Burrow, that surprises me

losing to FSU in 2013 really, really sucked.

disappointment is the wrong word, I agree, but it makes the whole season seem bitter to get so close

That is the goal but LSU finally got dat swag back yaherdmeh? LSU went into Tuscaloosa and controlled the game as the superior team which is a good step forward. But it's a multi-year process and the LSU program isn't going anywhere. It helps that Bama is starting to slip that's for sure.

False. They may play a team better than Bama still.

But at this point anything less than an undefeated regular season is a disappointment

I would be disappointed, but I don't know if you can call the season a disappointment if that makes sense.

I don't think LSU is so clearly the best team in the country that a loss to OSU or Clemson would be a surprise. Now, if we get embarrassed in the NC game by 20 points, that would certainly be a disappointment.
