If it's not Georgia or Texas as SEC champs, who do you think has the best shot?

Legit question here. Almost feel like I have to qualify it as such on this board where everyone assumes any and ever post is smack.
Georgia and Texas seem to be the overwhelming picks, but who do you like after that?
Ole Miss- New coach with complete staff overhaul on the offensive side of the ball. Great offensive skill weapons returning.
A&M- was last year a fluke brought on by an easy schedule (many felt similar about Georgia in 2017 or said so on here) or is this just the beginning? The recruiting build off of that season reminds me of the Dawgs after that amazing run.
Alabama- Why is no one talking about the elephant in the room? Is this maybe just what DeBoer needs? Lower expectations similar to Washington and make his way back to playoff glory?
LSU- Will the portal pieces mesh perfectly to give Lane a first year exceeding what Brian Kelly did?
Tennessee- Will the Huepe finally match the result and we see Tennessee rise from the ashes to make a legit coffee table book?
OU- Does Mateer become a Heisman candidate, lock first round NFL draft pick and make the offense the equal to the Venables defense?
or will some of the new coaches shock the world and pull a 2013 Gus Malzahn?
or does Beamer Ball become the envy of the SEC?
Does Robert Carradine's ghost give his doppelganger Eli Drinkwitz help and Missouri becomes king of the SEC?
Does Jared Curtis become Vandy's Andrew Luck and take a nerd school to college football prominence.
What say you?
It won't be popular here, but I'd probably lean towards A&M. The portly dude seems to have that ship sailing in the right direction and getting there fast.

Mississippi State.
Just kidding.

LSU. With that transfer class Kiffin has no excuse. Not sure why the media etc doesn't have LSU ranked #1. If LSU wins that Ole Miss game early I think they will end up being the SEC champions.

We retained 1/3 of our offensive staff.

A&M bc of their schedule. The new OL will make or break them

Most people don't know this but Reed spent the offseason with a pro QB coach. If he has improved his mechanics as much as they say, it will be interesting. However, you never know anything until live action. I'm still on 8-4 until Elko proves different
He definitely has all the pieces and his team has a blue collar mentality.

In men, yes.
In brainpower? Probably not.

Have you stopped reading threads? The decline, DeBoer's hot seat status, and any general news about Bama is a daily topic alongside Ole Miss shittng on Lane, LSU shitting on Ole Miss, most all shitting on Mizzou and Aggie, and UTa and UTk fighting over another off-season championship belt.
That said, aside from the two favorites. I think any of Bama, Ole Miss, OU (though schedule may get them) or LSU have a shot depending on how things come together with key new pieces on staff and the roster.
I think UGA is in a much better position than UTa as Sark will have his toughest schedule to date if pre-season projections hold.

We kept the QB coach and OL coach, which were critical. The former WR coach was a joke so I don't miss him at all. Kevin Smith (RBs) was also pretty disappointing. But yes, CWJ will be missed but we replaced him with the best option we could have found.

It’s really hard to predict/project with so much roster churn in modern CFB.
But each of those teams has a shot.

I think NIL and transfer portal privileged players have largely made this mentality go the way of the dodo birds.

A&M isn't a fluke. Elko has a vision and a plan. Currently the #1 recruiting class for 2027. Uses the portal to supplement current team. Doesn't overspend to upset the apple cart. Passed on Cam Coleman. Got Isaiah Horton.
This year our OL is unproven. That would be my biggest concern this year.
New OC seems to be using our strengths to our advantage. Expect a mobile pocket to move the launch point this year. 9-3. We miss the playoffs. Maybe 10-2 and we get in. I don't doubt Elko.

I don't think so. You don't play for Elko if you don't work. We've let some talented kids go simply because they don't fit. However, our last five games are quite frankly brutal. Whatever a-hole put us at OU the week before we play Texas and gave them a patsy ...
@Al
@SC
Tenn
@OU
Texas
I'd be happy to go 3-2 in that stretch

I'm just saying it's more likely than not you didn't replace Kiffin and Weiss's input on that side of the ball. I mean, maybe you did, but at this point it would be foolish for an outsider to think there wouldn't be some drop off there.

We have an off week after Bama.

Ou, I like them a lot this year. If venables can get above average play from qb. They’ll win the whole thing
