It will not be a big name hirer. Let’s do Math. We will owe gus 3 million a year to not coach or 7 million to coach. So we can pay a coach 4 million and come out the same.

Rodney Garner

He is the DL coach.

...oh yeah, also the Assistant HC.

It's worked so far for LSU.

I ran into Brother Bill Oliver the other day at walmark.
He still looks to be in good shape. Bring him out of retirement!

He might be getting tired of golf and fishing.

Matt Campbell should be the first call.

Told Auburn last year to let Gus go and grab Campbell.

Unless this new coach wants his own assistant coaches (likely) and then you are talking millions more.

If we actually “do the math” all it says is Auburn would be idiots to fire Gus after this season.

Auburn fans want to hire T-Rob because they think he can recruit.

Auburn recruited very well under Chizik, still didn't help.

There's a hell of a coach that would gladly take that $4 million a year if you were to offer it to him.

You just have to ask yourself if hiring someone that Beat Saban twice is worth the negative press and the flack from the SEC and NCAA.

btw the answer to that question is yes...
